I really like this place. It really weeds out the Larchmont poor from the patrons that don’t look at prices when they sit down to have a coffee.
Every bad review here complains about the prices. Do yourselves a favor and go have a cookie across the way if you cannot afford eat out.

I wish I could give it a 3.5! I genuinely think the food here is delicious, but the prices are absolutely insane for what you are getting, especially considering the fact that you order at a counter and go sit at a table with a number. I crave that grilled cheese and tomato soup (unfortunately two different menu items that are individually very expensive, so the combo is even more of an egregious assault to your wallet), but will often pass on it for other restaurants on Larchmont that give you more bang for your buck. Another thing to note is that they often times run out of things, especially in breakfast service.

Love the cafe menu, desserts and shop. The back patio is sublime 👌🏽. Hidden gem that hope stays on Larchmont for many years to come.

I want to love this place. I really do. But my husband and I stopped by for lunch for the first time and were appalled. The prices were ridiculous. We got a bowl of squash soup... which came in a VERY SMALL bowl and was more like a cup for $14. It was good... but honestly.... $14 at lunch for a tiny bowl of soup? We also got a pre made turkey sandwich: Again, $19 dollars for a simple deli sandwich? No sides? And $ 8.25 for a latte? What? Anyway. It's cute. Lots of fun (overpriced) gifts to buy for the home.... but the prices will keep us making lunch at home. No wonder restaurants are going out of business.

This place is very cute with great quality products and ingredients but the prices are so astronomical I haven’t been back. I live in the area so I am used to high prices but this place is beyond even that standard.

I recently visited Cookbook Market & Cafe in Larchmont and was thoroughly impressed. The market offers a fantastic selection of gourmet ingredients, and the café serves delicious food and beverages. The staff are attentive and friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a perfect spot for food enthusiasts and anyone looking for a cozy place to relax. Highly recommend it for both the quality of the products and the pleasant experience
