Teachers are great, staff is friendly , but it's sad that the management let down this place and neglected the maintenance. It's not being regularly cleaned. 1 sink is not working, the showers have hair , the changing rooms smell musty because trash is not being emptied on daily basis. Please upkeep and I will remove and give 5+ stars, because that what the studio used to be

I've been to Corepower Yoga before, but this is my first time at this location. I like this location more than I liked the one on 2nd Street. People were way nicer here; I felt that from the first moment I walked in. The building is under construction, but the parking garage is still available to you, and signs are directing you in the direction you need to go to get to the studio. The studio is very spacious and clean. You have to bring your own towel and Yoga mat; otherwise, you will have to rent it from them ($2 for a towel and $8 for a yoga mat). The bathrooms have showers but no bath towels- bring your own!As for the workout, I took the Yoga sculpt class a few times. It's not 100% traditional Yoga; they add some aerobic and fast-paced movements. It takes your body to an entirely different experience! You will get your sweat on really quickly! The instructors are excellent, and it is inspiring to see amazing women leading us to greatness and pushing us to become our best selves.

Let me preface this by saying that the instructors and classes here are wonderful, but the actual studio location and community of people who attend give off VERY negative energy. First off, the location has been under construction for 4 years so you deal with a long maze of debris and rude workers just to get upstairs. Secondly, there are some snarky "Karen" type women who come to the Wilshire studio and go out of their way to rudely talk down to others/make them feel inferior before class even starts - watch out for one named Kate who especially acts like she owns the place and makes others uncomfortable (I almost left a class once because of this). I've been to 10+ CorePower studios and hundreds of classes, but have never felt such bad vibes as this one. This isn't a reflection of CP overall but I think I'll stick to the San Vicente, 2nd Street, and MDR locations.

First timer at corepower and really loved it. The building is under construction I guess, but the management was super accommodating and my teacher Maddie J was amazing. Highly recommend!

THE studio that got me into yoga. I went to a few of their classes while I was in the area and got hooked on yoga. A great introduction to the art and a great location with wonderful instructors and a great community. Classes were often pretty full and lively. Even though it was cramped sometimes, I kind of enjoyed the atmosphere and the sense that we were all doing this together. The classes I attended were very welcoming and I learned soooo much about yoga while I was there. For many months there was a lot of construction on the building which made it not so great to get into and come out of, but inside the studio, it felt like a different world.

Never again. I have been to many Yoga Sculpt classes and would consider myself pretty fit and able. I attended a Sunday 10am with Carina D. where she had set the room to 100 degrees (I checked, and it’s typically 90-92 in other classes). At one point 7 of the 20 people in the class were taking a break outside the hot room, and at any given time half the class was sitting out moves or lying down due to the heat. It was clearly too hot for people to enjoy the class and the instructor should have read the room and adapted. At the end, the instructor noted that she “likes her classes hot”… easy for you to say, Carina D., you didn’t do any of the moves! And frankly, it’s not about how you like your classes, it’s about teaching a class for the people paying $32 to be there.

First time ever at core power yoga. The yoga itself was great loved the class. However the room smelt like sewage. Straight sewage. I was in the corner of the room with my sister and I couldn't even concentrate on the workout because it smelled disgusting. It was like a biohazard it was that bad. We both ran out of there and didn't relax for siddhasana which is usually my favorite part of any yoga. This was awful and I will not ever be back.

This studio is soooo tiny and I did an HPF class so it was a little too much heat for such a small space. Thankfully the instructor opened the door once in a while to let some cool air in. The floor is also really dirty. I didn't feel comfy being barefoot because you can visibly see stuff on the ground (hair, dust, dirt). I get how some is unavoidable but the amount you can see is a tad bit too much. The class itself is good - instructor was very clear and fun. The other students were a bit boring though, so it was hard to be hyped up with the instructor when no one else in the room was feeling her.

If you go to this location, be prepared to bake.Just took a class here, and unlike the other core power locations, this one has underfloor heating that completely cooks you. In the class I took, it was set way too high (my feet felt like they were burning) and half of the people in the class had to take a breather because of just how hot it was. I was barely able to finish my lesson.

Excellent teacher. Relaxed yet very intense workout. Not overcrowded like a lot of CorePower locations.

Can’t even find this place! I booked a class at this location online (why would your system allow me to book if you’re not open for business) and when I arrive I see that the entire complex is under construction. I tried calling the number but I get a recorded message that no one is available to answer. This is highly unprofessional!

The staff are very friendly, The classes are good and challenging enough to keep me interested, and the instructor gives me suggestions for modifications to the poses I have not mastered. The parking is free and there is a security guard on site, although the area where the studio is located is safe enough. Free parking is a plus in LA.I am very pleased with my experience at the Wilshire CYP!

Horrified that my review posted last week has mysteriously disappeared. How does that happen? Customer service is the absolute worst at Core Power. One phone number for ALL their locations and calling that number you will be on hold for a minimum of 18 minutes (or at least that's been my experience...save for the last time which was a whopping 45 minutes). Of the 3-4 times I have called I have all but once gotten Devon. Is there ONE girl in Colorado answering all calls for this giant corporation? Forget it if you want to talk to management. I'm still waiting on a call back and it's been a week (and the woman I just talked to couldn't give an answer as to why a Manager is not available). The hold system sounds to have a change since my big complaint last week - they now call you back because the hold time is "longer than average". Not expecting a call back at this point from a manager specifically - whomever is "managing" customer service simply does not care. About my missing review (multiple reviews actually) I mentioned last week when asking for a manager that I was spending my extensive hold time writing yelp reviews about my experience for the locations I've been to. Today, I have found they ALL mysteriously disappeared. Now I feel I need an explanation from them as well as from Yelp.
