I recently took classes at this studio. All of the instructors did a great job of incorporating a wide mix of moves, and provided appropriate challenges and alternatives for everyone in the class. Particularly great were Ken and Olivia. Highly recommend attending this studio and their classes!

I know how important reviews good or bad can be for any business being that I work in the fitness industry's upper management level. I have been to this studio twice and each time the experience has been great. My first visit to the studio instructor gave me a quick tour of the studio and informed me what I needed. I come from studios that have all the thrills like huge lounges, locker rooms, modern features etc. But I enjoyed how this studio was to the point and focus on the class. I was not expecting it to be a heated class but I was able to complete the 45 min. Today I did a C1 class with Ken J, I thought it would have been too much of a challenge but I was very wrong. Great instructor, funny and helpful with correcting the form as needed. Defiently will try his classes again and C2.

I do visit this studio quite often and I must say, it do like it here. I love their yoga sculpt and HPF! HPF is one of my favorite classes, it's the perfect balance of zen and workout! I can't forget the day where Diplo showed up and did the whole one hour of yoga with us haha. You can borrow mats here as needed for $5 I believe and towels, I usually bring my own. Parking is validation so that's nice. Lockers are roomy and restrooms are good enough if you want to shower after or anything!

Never again. I have been to many Yoga Sculpt classes and would consider myself pretty fit and able. I attended a Sunday 10am with Carina D. where she had set the room to 100 degrees (I checked, and it's typically 90-92 in other classes). At one point 7 of the 20 people in the class were taking a break outside the hot room, and at any given time half the class was sitting out moves or lying down due to the heat. It was clearly too hot for people to enjoy the class and the instructor should have read the room and adapted. At the end, the instructor noted that she "likes her classes hot"... easy for you to say, Carina D., you didn't do any of the moves! And frankly, it's not about how you like your classes, it's about teaching a class for the people paying $32 to be there.

great variety of classes. Sculpt and HPF are their best. Ken is my personal favorite instructor! The studio is clean. Bathrooms have some amenities. The location of the studio is amazing.

Today I thought I would try something new. I've had classes at hot8 yoga previously so I knew this would be similar. My favorite workouts consist of Pilates, yoga and maybe some intense Zumba like workouts. I feel like Pilates and yoga focus a lot on your strength and core. The class I took today was sculpt. Sculpt focuses on all things strength and I was definitely not feeling any of that today. It was too late to cancel or I would be charged a late cancellation fee so I picked myself up and went to the class. They offer free 90 minute parking in the parking garage next to the studio. I must say, the parking attendant was so helpful and very inviting. When I pulled up to the gate to retrieve my ticket he greeted me with a smile. I felt that my car would be safe parking in that garage because they have parking attendants watching who is coming and going in the parking garage. Once you get to the front door of coreyoga, you will notice they have their front doors locked. I like this because being downtown random people wonder in and out of different businesses which is very unsafe. They look to see who they're buzzing in prior to unlocking the door. Once you enter you will see the product wall with various yoga items such as mats, towels, shirts and more. The instructor was at the front desk checking people in and letting them know what they will need for class. If it's your first class, they will give you a complimentary rental of a mat and towel. If I would've known that I needed these items I would've definitely brought my own. Prior to coming to this location I tried checking what is needed on the website but I didn't find anything. The towel that they give you is too small for the mat. I'm OCD so having to have my feet straddle on the bare mat was cringey to me. You do have the option to put your items in the lockers up front. There's no lock on the lockers. The instructor mentioned that since they lock the doors no lock is needed. I was fine with that. They do have a water station and showers. I didn't go into those areas to see how they actually look but it seemed to look ok. Once I locked my items up and grabbed my complimentary mat and towel I went into to yoga sculpt room. I noticed the heat was on a little high. I didn't know it was hot yoga sculpt because the class description didn't mention heated. I was not upset at all because I loveeee hot yoga sculpt!! It made the experience even better. I also noticed the room was really small and it didn't have a lot of places to lay your mat. I was able to find me a spot near the back. The sculpt class moves were perfect for toning the arms, the legs and glutes. I did feel a slight pain with each muscle group we were working on. Overall a great class. I will definitely try it out again. Maybe next time I will do Hot Power Fusion.

This review is for the one C2 class with Bylle last Sunday. I enjoyed her teaching style and how she accommodated students of all levels. The balancing poses were tough, but she gave everyone space to "play" around. Thank you!I knocked off a few stars due to the tiny size of the studio, parking and the location. I saw some dog dung (or was it human) and homeless people wheeling shopping carts full of rubbish outside. The parking structure was hard to find and I still ended up playing $5 after validation. Having to find parking and remembering to get validation is a bit stressful. However, locker room is stocked full of toiletries like mouthwash and lotion. Much appreciated after a sweaty session of hot yoga.

Was in town for work for a conference from Colorado, popped in and took a sculpt class with Jenny, she was incredible, welcoming and put us through an awesome workout. Incredible job by Jenny at CorePower in downtown LA.

I love this place so much that I decided to take my TT journey with CPY over any other yoga studio. I joined because it was close to my home but now I drive out just to attend the classes!!!

This business is irresponsible with financial information. I've canceled my intro membership twice at this studio, once in March of '22, then again in May of '22 when I noticed my membership was still active after the first cancellation. I'm just learning that I have still been consecutively charged since then...resulting in over $1600 of false charges. I have never regretted taking an intro month at a studio more in my life and have to go through my card company to finally get this resolved. Seeing these charges again made me feel very abused by a system that seems only to want your money, dont make the same mistake.

Overall, I love corepower yoga. It has been very beneficial to me in terms of emotional regulation, resilience, and mindfulness. However a concern I have is with Ken J. At the beginning of the class he asks to raise your hand if you don’t want to be touched and on two occasions, I have raised my hand and on two occasions I have been touched anyway. It put me on edge and was triggering for me. In addition, in the most recent class yesterday, he spoke about how we should thank our abusers for the things they’ve done to us. In addition, he was talking poorly and in a judgemental manner about a member who had tight hips, but doesn’t stretch on a regular basis. Yoga class is meant to be a “safe” space where we can feel comfortable. I do not feel this way when I’m in a class with Ken J and I won’t be returning to his class again.
