I have to wait a month to get a medication in stock, the staff doesn’t care about you, they are unwilling to help, they’re rude and unaccommodating and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere

This is a review for the CVS Pharmacy at the Beverly Connection Mall, corner of Beverly Blvd and La Cienega (next to WeHo). I go to the pharmacy on Friday (yesterday) at 6 pm...long line (I did not want to stand there waiting to catch Covid or Flu from sick people stopping by while they're sick or their kids are sick during Winter Rain Weather to pick up meds while not wearing masks), understaffed, pharmacy closes at 8 pm (on a Friday, which is ridiculous in a young busy area) even though this is a 24 hour CVS. I come back the next day Saturday (today). I've been up since early this morning, but the pharmacy only opens at 10 AM. Also ridiculous. It closes at 6 PM...also ridiculous. Keep in mind the pharmacy is inside a large 24-hour CVS which has security and the mall has security too. So, when I come in (after 10 AM), the prescription that the Dr phoned in YESTERDAY is STILL NOT ready. They make it for me while I walk around the store, surrounded by homeless people. 3 stars is me being generous. The guy behind the counter today was nice and helpful, USC Pharmacy school, probably getting experience to ultimately work somewhere better than CVS. Also, the longtime CVS employees that don't work in the pharmacy are nice. I saw several of them during my visit and said Hi, since I hadn't been in for so long. Anyway, to summarize, this pharmacy has ridiculous hours, it needs to open earlier and close later, it needs to be properly staffed, at least to avoid long lines during Winter Covid/Flu season (and masks are not required) and having customers come in, only to find out their meds are not ready for pickup. It's kind of a joke. We have other options, including plenty of mom-and-pop pharmacies that are better run.

The pharmacist and technicians were great today when I went in for Covid and flu vaccinations. I was very impressed with the pleasant demeanor and professionalism.

What I like about this pharmacy:1. Nice people who treat you like a human with needs, not an annoying number to deal with before break time. 2. If there's a problem, they are proactive in notifying you and actually helping to solve problems, not create more stress and problem for you.3. Pretty well stocked, but close enough to other CVS locations with the ability to check stock and guide you to the best place. 4. Drive thru!

I'm gonna need the store manager (Armen Avetisian per the sign out front) to explain to me why the patrons of his store are punished by the back door being closed 24 hours a day. This completely segregates the store from the rest of the shopping complex, and makes my errands much more difficult. They constantly lie and say it is open earlier in the day, but when I'm here earlier in the day it is always shut. It is not the responsibility of the business to make sure the homeless don't come around. That is on the city to provide housing and opportunity. In my opinion, it's insanely cruel to shut off a coveted area of shade to our unhoused neighbors in 100°+ heat. CVS made $125.575 BILLION DOLLARS of profit last year. They can afford to lose a few dollars.

This pharmacy is so mismanaged. 1) The wait times for a phone call are atrocious. Currently 20 minutes and counting. 2) When you call to refill a prescription, they don't notify you that there are no refills left. Instead they say they will refill it and you never get a notification the prescription is ready. 3) Even after a doctor faxes a refill prescription, the pharmacy never contacts you or refills it. 4) If you create a CVS pharmacy account to manage prescriptions, you can't refill your prescription ahead of the date they determine the prescription will run out. You have to call them to do that.

I had a Horrible experience in every way, rude store, inconvenient hours, rude and arrogant pharmacists.I tried switching from Walgreens but I'm actually back there as it is better of the two. This was my experience, yours may be different.

Staff was so helpful. I found all of the travel toiletries and snacks I was looking for. My bill was over $100! The cashier enthusiastically helped me check to see if I had any coupons and rewards. On a busy Friday night, she took her time and helped me discover $20 in coupons! I did not expect that. Her name was Connie and she made my day. On my way out, she was hugging a customer that she clearly knew very well. It's very, very odd to have a massive corporate entity feel like a neighborhood drug store. Shout out to Connie!

Staff were kinda rude, though checkout girl was nice. It's clean and spacious, but they don't even sell magazines, and the staff member who told me so, was horribly rude. Only ever stopping in here again in an emergency
