I've always had a great experience finding workers here for everything from moving, hauling to yard work. If you have a job to do come here to find the help you need.

Was able to get two guys to help w my hard cleaning over text messaging. The guys were able to borrow tools from the organization too. Thank you!

Hired some labor to help around the house before a big move. Guys were nice and careful, and the hiring center was easy to manage. And a nonprofit! Great spot.

The Cypress Park Community Job Center (CPCJC) is located at Cypress Park and funded by the city of Los Angeles, was founded 19 years ago. This community center is operated by IDEPSCA (Instituto de Educacion Popular del Sur de California) a non-profit organization. The center functions as a public safety alternative to soliciting employment on the street corners; these centers help protect day laborers from suffering severe exploitation and unsafe work conditions. How we work, CPCJC provides honest, organized, and respectful workers to do the job that may be required from an employer. The employer may call ahead or request a worker in person. CPCJC follows a registration system to distribute work.
