My (traditional) driver's license will expire in a couple of months, so I decided to just go ahead and apply for a REAL ID. I made multiple attempts to complete the online application, but for some reason... neither my passport nor my SS card were successfully recognized by the system. So...I tried to make a DMV appt. online, but my information could not be matched. ABSOLUTELY dreaded having to go to the DMV. Shockingly?... On a Monday morning, I walked in at around 10 AM and then walked out almost exactly an hour later. The folks at this location are efficient. And professional. I had to go to several different stations (e.g. non-appt. line, REAL ID app. line, camera line, etc.), but everything went quickly and smoothly. Not sure what it's like at other DMV locations, but this one definitely does a good job.

I had to go to the Hollywood DMV again to get my replacement ID and didn't expect to need to give an even higher rating than last time! This last visit was over a month ago, so I'm finally getting to this overdue and much deserved review. Even without an appointment, the wait time was much shorter and faster than other DMVs and the lady at the window was very kind, friendly, and efficient--WOW! I'm just sorry I didn't write her name down, but it I ever get it, I will add it to this review. Thank you so much, I appreciate you for treating me so nicely it was so unexpected--in a good way!

Came as a walk-in for replacement ID and the staff here were so helpful and nice!! The process was super quick and was out within an hour or so. Would definitely recommend this location and suggest trying to arrive within the first two hours of opening!

Don't take driving test here! You might get Maggie. Maggie immediately has a horrible disposition and she takes it out on whoever is driving. She seems to love that control, and to demoralize you. There is a reason they have more appointment availability at this location generally, word on the street is don't take driving test here because of the lady examiner, and unfortunately I found that to be true. I easily passed the driving exam, driving the same way, with many years of experience, at a different DMV. I'm shocked and saddened that Maggie is still employed here. What does it take to get someone who is a mean cruel rude person fired from DMV? She actually marked me off and told me I failed when I didn't cross over a double line, what? I wish I had a video camera of her interaction with me, of course she didn't write it up that way. I cannot imagine Maggie couldn't pass her own driving test. Maybe she doesn't like certain type of people or certain types of cars, not sure what makes her immediately nasty, before I even started driving.

Long lines. This DMV only handles certain situations. Be sure this DMV handles what you need or you could be making a useless time consuming trip.

Normally this DMV takes the best photos. I was back there to get a new photo, as I didn't care for the way I did my makeup in the renewal shot. First of all, I filled out the application online and did not receive the required code via email. So I had to stand in line and fill out the application all over again. Then when it came time to take the photo, I was not given any warning. I stood where I was told and was trying to adjust my pose while he snapped the photo. Seriously??!! A little notification would have been nice. When I asked to see it, he said "nope". Tried calling DMV to see about a redo, but the lines were jammed. Calling customer service back tomorrow.. I paid to get a new photo and I expect to not get one with my eyes half closed, or with a stupid look on my face, because I wasn't ready and was not given a countdown.Highly upset!!!!

It took 1 HR and 10 minutes and I was done. Just a renewal. I got there at about 930 am. Great staff. Fast paced. Tuesday in the morning is the time to go. Good Luck!!!

So I went in here thinking it was going to be like every other DMV experience; waiting for about an hour to have your number called for a simple renewal. Fortunately that wasn’t the case at this location. I walked in without an appointment, waiting in line for about a minute before completing the application. Then it only took about 15-20 minutes for them to call my number, and another 5 or so to take a picture. This is what I hope for everywhere I go: efficiency. Maybe it was just because my task was simple, and easy that it was fast, but I don’t think that’s the case. They seemed to be moving fast for everyone.

There is always an hour wait here, so a reservation is essential. In particular, there is a Korean employee at number 11, but he ignores people and is quite unfriendly, so Koreans should keep this in mind when visiting.

The staff is truly They go above and beyond .I had one of those situations. They took care of it. Truly, it was a very complicated situation that involved with the tax franchise, which they took care of it, which I was really happy, so only paid a certain amount of money, which was not the amount I was expecting, which is much better than what I would've been expecting. Lol.

The worst experience ever, I had driving test twice in this location, both times I have female examinators, and they failed me both times , and last time because I was driving too slow, but I just followed posted limits. Both ladies were rude first always touch my right hand and really distracted me a lot. Second Lady didn’t’ introduce herself I even don’t know is she is really examinator, she made fun of me during the exam and scream when I tired to be caution. I am so shocked to have this bad experience twice. They have a lot of prejudice towards foreigners and really treat you bad. IF YOU WANT TO PASS TEST , DON’T COME THERE. I hope supervisory authority can do something with it once they received my complain.
