This corner store is one of those old relics that's been around for decades. I love that they don't refurbish them and keep that old school look with the original sign and sometimes the same paint from back in the 50's LOL. The dark grungy interior reminds me of my youth when entering these neighborhood stores. I only went in to buy some Lottery tickets.

My favorite Liquor Store of all. The staff is always so friendly and happy to see you. Chuck is such a sweetheart and people person. They now take Cash & Debit cards for payment. If there's no street parking you can always park in the right side of the store where theres more parking available. You can find anything from Liquor, to Milk, Napkins, etc.

Eva’s Liquor is located on City Terrace Drive in the East L.A. neighborhood City Terrace. I’ve been unable to find a date for the business, but the building dates to 1949.

The Dog is on the LOOSE! and it's a MAD DOG! Mad Dog 20/20, that Is! Haha. The MD stands for Mogen David in reality. MD 20/20 IS a cheap "bum wine" but it tastes good and goes down easy. Just like you will after putting a whole bottle straight to the head. Also known as "liquid tranquilizer". Maria will take you to the rear area for specialized sales if you know the hi sign.

Friendly service, I think they close at midnight but they let me in anyway to buy a drink/hard seltzer. East LA might not be the nicest part of town, but it seems to be in a nicer hilly part of East La. Didn't feel unsafe to be there. Anyways, it's your typical small 7-11 style liquor store with fridges of alcohol and a couple aisles of junk food. Didn't get a chance to look around much. If you wanna get liquor or a six pack but everything else is closed, this is the place to go. A nice asian man might be your cashier; that was who my cashier was!
