On July 7th, I visited a FedEx office and was very disappointed with the customer service I received. The manager at the front desk quoted me a shipping price that was twice as high as what I paid just last month to send a package to the same address.
Last month, despite clearly requesting standard shipping twice, she sent my package via express delivery. I decided not to argue—maybe she had sales targets to meet. However, this time, she outright refused to process my package using standard shipping, insisting the only option available was $83.03 for a 6-pound box. She told me if I didn’t agree, I could choose another company.
While still in the office, I checked FedEx’s official website and found that based on my package details, standard shipping should cost around $20–30, not $83. I still don’t understand why such a large difference in pricing occurred.
This experience left me feeling frustrated and confused. I’ve always relied on FedEx for dependable service, but this interaction made me seriously reconsider using FedEx in the future.

Awful service...All of the mail carriers need to stop their DEI crap; Emotionally stunted people who can't work under pressure need to not work in this industry.

HORRIBLE experience. I’ve been to this location TWICE and was able to pick up my package without an ID. I come for the third time and one of the employees stated that I needed my ID. I told her I came here twice and was able to pick up my package without a ID! The rude employee went to the back and got the manger involved. I told the manager my concerns and he stated that he can’t give me my package. Why make it seem like you can get your package without an ID ?

I had a very unpleasant experience with FedEx. The employees were extremely rude and unprofessional. They broke my flash drive, which then stopped working on any device. Afterward, I asked them to print a banner and offered to send the file by email. Despite three attempts to send it, they still hadn’t received the email, though they assured me they were checking their inbox. It was highly frustrating as they showed complete indifference and even had a hostile attitude. I waited for about 10 minutes until they finally told me that the email hadn’t arrived. This experience wasted my time, and I didn’t receive the service I needed in the end.

I'm a boomer for real & I'm on the tail end of the tech knowledge scale. I went into FedEx to print some travel doc's from my new Samsung 24 & couldn't figure out how to use my phone to get the job done. Adrian came to assist this lady in distress and I am really grateful he was able to get my job done & me on my way in a short amount of time.

FedEx is a very convenient copy, print, ship, and shipping supply location right in the heart of DTLA. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have a good selection of bubble wrap, tape, etc. for shipping packages or boxing stuff up for moving. There is also a computer station if you need to copy and print off of a flash drive or from an email. All in all, FedEx has what you need to facilitate and expedite shipping, copying and printing.
