It wouldn't be Christmas without attending the Christmas Eve service at First Congragational Church. A tradition my family has done for many years.

Good day.My name is Solomiia. I'm 31 years old. Because of the war in Ukraine, I want to move to the USA. For this, I am looking for a sponsor for the U4U program (the person who will send the invitation to the government website). I want to ask you to become my sponsor so that I can stop fearing for my life.Thank you.

Such an incredible place of architecture; echoes of an 'Old World' past. It's difficult to believe this church/cathedral was built in 1886. 'Founded' is the key term. This place is beyond our time, it's interesting to see it's reflection in the 'modern' building across from it. Speaks volumes.

My name is Alex. I'm 35. I'm from Ukraine. Because of the war, we have no work in the country, so I want to get a job in the USA. Now there is an opportunity to go to work under the refugee program, but this requires a sponsor (a person who will send an invitation on the government website, you probably heard about it). I want to ask you to become my sponsor, this does not oblige you to anything, but it will help me and my family to survive in this difficult time for us. Thank you

In 1976, I went to the Pilgram School that was attached or belonged to this church, it was a very good private school. I was in my teen back then and I made some good school friends. Teachers were so kind and caring. I'm in my 60s now and it seems like yesterday. I wonder if anyone is still around. Does anyone know what happens to the school? Is it still there?

My personal experience was very heart warming feeling loved the choir music through the church session, I felt shy but comfortable, like the diversity congregation. The sermon was falling and beautiful.

We came here tonight for a show. Such a beautiful building and acoustics. The organ is a masterpiece. I could stare into the stained glass panels for hours as well.

First Congregational Church of Los AngelesFirst Congregational Church of Los Angeles is a remarkably elegant English Gothic Revival church where we attended the April 2 concert of St. Matthew Passion. Its pipe organ is listed as the world's second largest. Completed in 1932, it is beautifully maintained. It was so pleasant to encounter Michael, the most charming usher, who provided such kind direction. The reception which followed the concert was most extraordinary, all choices superb. I mention this after reading comments from congregation and users as a venue. I'm quite impressed with their ingenuity while their membership is reflecting modern society.Definitely worth a visit and attendance at their extensive musical programs.
