I have no complaints except this place is NOT open 24/7 as states online and the hours are not posted at the store. I was told today by a nearby business that Beyond closes at 6. It is a shame it is not open 24/7 because there are many nearby apartments and this is the only place close to a grocery store or a 7-11 on the block.

This place has horrendous service. Old asian man with gray hair gave me a hard time paying cash with a $20 dollar bill asking me to use a smaller bill. Really?? I hope they out of business. Never going back to these jokers

This place is just straight up bad!! The stuff is over priced and the employees are just so horrible with their customer service. But what can you expect when the "manager" (white guy with rosy cheeks and glasses) is even worst. We went to buy something and once we were at the register the "manager" told us to leave. We replied "you want us to get out" he said "yeah, go, get out". It was just so shocking how some one in the customer service industry is this way. If you are unhappy with your job my friend it's time to go your own way. And who ever owns this place, please take a look at your business and really REALLY re-think about the people your are hiring. They are killing your business. Such a shame paying high rent in an area that gives your store so much potential to profit.

I am sorry. But every morning around 10:00AM the new guy closes the place down and takes a break. I sat there waiting for him to come back from break and at least 20 people came by and tried to get in. I told him, he's on break. I mean really, there should be at least 2 people on in the mornings, so when one person is taking a break, the other can cover the store. You lose business when you close down. Especially in the mall at 350 South Grand. Not the way you should be doing business.

This is the absolute worst store in all of the water court. I went here to purchase two empty cups and was told by the cashier I'm not allowed to purchase them empty, but just this once he'll allow it. I've never heard of a place not being able to sell you an empty cup but whatever. The cashier then proceeded to rant about the same issue and how it was such a big deal so I said forget it and left the store. As I'm leaving the cashier tells me I need to put the cups back, of course I decline and continue to leave the store, the cashier then leaves his post to follow me around the water court screaming that I can't come back, threatening to engage me in physical combat, calling me a f****** This was something out of a movie. Needless to say, I will NEVER be returning to this dirty, rude, homophobic, sorry excuse for a convenient store ever in my life. And if you don't care about human rights then please keep going there. Below you can see cashier forming his mouth to say "******** you can also see how far he followed us from the store

Well I was there at 8pm on a Saturday and they were locked up! So much for the 24/7 hours claim! I miss the old Famima!

Giving 5 stars because the dude who works there is nice, and also they have Thrifty ice cream. No longer do u have to go to grand central market to get ice cream for $6, but you can get thrifty's for $2. Wow, like what a deal. In terms of other items, the prices are reflective of the location, so yeah.

A little overpriced based on this location (financial district, Downtown LA), but it does have a variety of snacks to cater to healthy and unhealthy cravings. They have some pastries that could be better. I miss Famima being at that location.

Don't do business at this store, they'll over charge you. I got the receipt so I'm certain.

This is a new market at California Plaza, in the same spot left empty by the cool Famima. Beyond Food Mart is a pale copy of Famima, small convenience store where you can get a coffee, fruit, snacks on the go. Decent drinks selection. But this place is less ethnic and food wise, the selection isn't as good, too much pre-packaged merchandise, expensive, the salads and the sandwiches had wilted lettuce that needed to be tossed instead of being in shelves anymore. If you need to grab food for picnic for Grand Performances, skip this place, choices are limited here. It's clean, but Beyond Food Mart could expand their selection further beyond what they have so far.
