HUGE A$$HOLES. Had a slotted sign up. Tons of people on the slotted sign up for the same slot. Texted and called the number they say to confirm 4 hours in advance... no response. Drove 1.5 hours and showed up early. Whatever troll that runs this place was SUPER RUDE. Chastising me, telling me to "read the website" but then when I pulled up the website to read it. He talked over me, and he wouldn't even read his own website. I did everything right. No sympathy, no consideration, just a huge jerk.

Horrible, don't waste your time with this place. Rude staff, the club smelled like dog crap and had a horrible vibe. The comedy here wasn't even funny. I brought my girlfriend here for a date night and we were extremely underwhelmed and bummed. I do not recommend this place to anyone

Gotta love Joe and what he’s done with this empire. Most guys that start mics are living in their van now. Joe actually started several clubs. Support it.

Well if you are looking for an inexpensive, fun time in Hollywood, and you like stand-up comedy, this might be your spot!Nice little intimate comedy stage where you can observe stand up comedy from a variety of talent. The "bar" is limited to beer (IPA and WC) and water, but you aren't here for the drinks. There's a front row of tables, two booths on the side and two rows of seating behind the tables. Not a bad seat in the place. And it was full on Friday night. The host was great, the energy was great! A very comfortable place to enjoy the show. Very casual. Typical East Hollywood neighborhood with all the people and parking fun, so be aware. Small drink selection, small venue, big laughs.

Highly doubt I'll be coming back after my experience with the owner Joe. My girlfriend and I showed up for my friends show and she really had to use the bathroom. We showed up right when it said the doors were open on the flyer. The doors were open and the lights were on, so we walked in she used the bathroom and we took our seats. Eventually Joe shows up and immediately starts making passive aggressive comments, "oh just letting yourselves in? Cool." Yeah dude....your door was open and the lights were on. Sorry? If you wanted to keep people out you should probably lock up, your club is not in a nice area. If anything you should probably be grateful it's paying customers and one of your comics and not homeless people jacking your equipment. Now here's my biggest problem: the only other time I was here, Joe went on stage and said hey guys we don't have a bar its BYOB. So silly me I assumed it would be again. I did bring beers and was about to drink one until Joe saw and immediately starts yelling WOAH GUYS ITS NOT BYOB YOU HAVE TO GO THROW THOSE OUT NOW forcing us to throw our beers out on the street. Jesus, dude. I kind of understand if a business owner would get upset about something like that, but the last time I was here it was and he had no problem with it. So for him to freak out and raise his voice like that over a policy he's not even firm over is completely unprofessional. Now I'm thinking ok I have to sit through this show sober? That sucks. Oh wait, silly me I should've known..this time around Joe IS selling alcohol. Weird, I had no idea since he wasn't advertising it. Now I could be wrong, but I think he's keeping it on the down low because he's selling alcohol without a liquor license....which is a crime. Yell at us all you want dude, but I'm pretty sure you're breaking the law. Now the main reason I remain salty and write this review is because as I'm leaving, after buying two tickets AND two rounds of drinks, Joe gives my girlfriend and me THE dirtiest looks. Like this guy wanted to punch me. Seriously dude? Is this how you treat people who did nothing but show up to your club on time and spend money? Now I know why all his shows are bringer shows, seeing the way he runs his "business" it's not likely anyone would want to return.

Super fun place to go for comedy. The venue is small and intimate. The comedians were super funny. Would totally keep returning!
