Franklin D. Roosevelt Park offers a variety of amenities for families and pet owners alike. The playgrounds are engaging for children, featuring areas for sports, skating, and safe play. Recent renovations have improved the park's appearance, making it a nice place for picnics and gatherings, with many celebrating birthdays there. While the park includes ample trash cans and clean toilets, some visitors note that litter is an issue, which is dependent on the community's efforts. The park is also dog-friendly, attracting many pet owners for walks. Overall, it is a good place for family fun, sports, and relaxation, despite some concerns about cleanliness and tree maintenance.
Came for a community event on the lawn. Facilities are practical rather than scenic. Playground was busy after school. Fine place if you're nearby and need green space or a game.

South LA community park with sports fields, rec facilities, and open space. Active with local leagues and families. Not a tourist destination — a working neighborhood park. Courts looked well used when we visited.

Great park, skate area and hard top soccer, basketball courts top notch. Only drawback is the police presence
