My boss makes me go there. I think why spend so much mucho dinero? Close to la casa but so much! I think the food is not so many but the drinks! Santa Maria! The people working there are nice. Many many people working there. Beautiful flowers. I got the big pink roses for my boss to decorate for a party that lasted two weeks and opened bigger and bigger, not like the ones that die right away with no opening. Very clean and nice for rich Hollywood people. Once I see that guy who plays on Mad Men but with the beard. Don Draper. Jajaja!

Outside Gelsons you find a large pinboard for the specialties of the day: fresh cut salami only $4.99 /lbs I have no issues with that and I did not ask to use it, I just asked if I could place a letter size paper with the details of my missing dog on the parking somewhere and I wanted to ask for permission and where the best place would be. Gelsons manager denied my request with the information they don't have the space . There property there rules , what has this nation come to? Shame on you Gelson's I will not set food in your store again.

This place is a gem in the Hollywood area. I sat at the wine bar for lunch and it was delicious. The service was incredible; Otto actually went into the store to get me bread pudding for dessert. I would recommend and will definitely be back. Gelson’s Wine Bar rocks!!

Closed regularly before advertised time. Pretty annoying to get there and get turned away well before their advertised closing time.

I appreciate the upscale atmosphere at Gelson's Super Market; the selection is top-notch, and the store is well-maintained. However, some employees could improve their customer service by being more approachable and helpful, as their demeanor can come off as somewhat snobbish. Despite this, the overall shopping experience and high-quality products make it a solid four-star choice for those seeking premium groceries.

Cindy, Claudia, Iris and Lily are the BEST! They are so sweet and treat our two year old son Max like he’s family since he was born. He runs up for hugs and flowers every time we see them! We are so grateful for their kindness! All of the staff is amazing overall, very polite and friendly every time. Thank you!

If you come here for the “fresh salads” they are only fresh around the afternoons. They basically just use leftovers from the previous day for the morning. I don’t blame this on the employees, it’s the people who run this place, the managers and corporate.. unless corporate doesn’t know. ?

The shrimp I bought (shell on, medium) made me sick. It was obvious when I got home that these shrimp hadn't been in the ocean for a very long time, but as they didn't smell of ammonia, I thought they'd be OK. They not only were the worst shrimp I've ever eaten but have affected me for the past 22 hours. I am recovering from surgery and didn't need to feel worse than I already do.

What a bougie little store. Very much enjoyed that everything I needed was all under one roof

This is a store with attitude. Aside the fact that is is awfully expensive with brand/items that you can find at other stores for half of price, their employees are obnoxious like they are millionaires and. treat you like dirt. If you are an upper middle class customer like I am, you should feel intimidated by the attitude of these overpaid low life employees.

There is a little bakery section where you can get torts, tarts, specialty cookies, macarons, pastries. Both breakfast and dessert options. They have two or possibly three gluten-free options in the pastry section. Pre-packaged Flaxs4Liife brand. Here they have blueberry muffins and chocolate brownies. However, they have an expanded selection and choice of GF Food4Life items in the primary grocery store in the bakery section. I did ask within the bakery and they said that that was all that the store carried. Which was clearly incorrect. They also have several different options for meringues including different shapes like nests and some with and without chocolate. And lastly they have a flourless chocolate cake. Which, even though it is flourless, it is not considered gluten free. This is because they haven't verified this with the cake vendor / provider.Great

This store is great, it offers a lot of organic and natural options. The staff are super helpful and friendly. They offer fresh food as well so if you're on the go and want a good meal they have tons of options.

Although it is clearly posted that only service animals are permitted, not emotional support animals or pets, this is never enforced. There are always multiple dogs in the market, and I am tired of being nosed and sniffed by them.

Over All Gelsons is an Excellent Store. So recently after making a Bank deposit I get accosted by some African American guy about tickets to a gig? When I refused to engage with this guy, he starts being rude and start getting upset! All because I didn't care to engage with him, and it escalated to tussle! It didn't get to ugly, cause I didn't allow self to go into thrash mode. Gelsons needs to be care as to allowing people to harass customers. I only stopped to deposit cash from work today, and got caught up in a unwanted situation with an A1 Idiot. I'm going to confide an attorney as to what transpired and liability!

People really talked this place up, I wasn't really impressed. Maybe if you go to one of their food bars it's good, but, didn't really see many vegan options. Just seems like a Raley's, I just think there are better options at other "upscale" stores.
