I have had the pleasure of having not just 1, but 2 products serviced at George Meyer AV. First was a Rotel preamp, which now plays flawlessly. The second item was a Rotel class D amplifier, which has returned with similar success.I particularly like spending extra time browsing through their seemingly endless inventory of incredibly interesting pre-owned and refurbished audio and video gear. I feel like I have to force myself to leave, lest I return home with yet more equipment than I can fit in my tiny home. ?

One of the last few honest people. I loved working with them. Two places said my four year old Marantz 7.1 receiver needed tons of repairs. George took it on, called me the same day with a very fair price and it was ready in four days. Parts & labor are not cheap. Nothing’s cheap these days. You pay for a “job well done.” Thank you ? sir.

Good experience - dropped off an audio-technica turntable that was about 12 years old, it was thought that the cartridge was bad but it turned out to be the tone-arm. Cost to replace tone-arm was more than buying a new turntable so I was informed on a few brands that have "plug & play/pre-amp" turnrables. Morris, Ali, Nells were very helpful - I would recommend this place for repairs and valuable input.

I had George Meyer AV repair my McIntosh MX136 and it sounds amazing!!! Living without my preamp reminded me just how important the preamp is to your system’s overall sound! Amazing service also! I would trust my gear with these guys any day! Thanks!!

I had a great experience here. My Denon receiver was fixed quickly and for a fair price. Communication was excellent throughout and the place is like a candy store to walk through. Thank you!

Price gouging shop. They’re a “certified repair shop” for a number of audio companies, they know they get trafficked business through that where people can’t bring their equipment anywhere else, so they up charge you. They charge you for everything, quote you an astronomically high price, then if you turn it down they’ll charge you more money just to pick your item back up. Disgusting, borderline criminal behavior. Do not trust them with your audio equipmentEdit: they’re now refusing to return me my amplifier. That’s right, they can take customers equipment and just refuse to return it, knowing they’re legally operating in a grey area. How is this company still in business…and just look at their reply, trying to make me seem like I’m the one in the wrong. These guys are criminals, plain and simple.

This repair shop is extraordinary. They repaired a vintage receiver for me. Most shops can't do this kind of work.

They did a great job replacing the Ortofon cartridge and drive belts on my Mitsubishi LT-22 linear drive turntable. Even replaced the output cable. Will definitely take my Nakamichi cassette tape deck to them if I ever have problems since the Nakamichi repair center closed.Morris is knowledgeable and informative.

I have an expensive home theatre system I bought and had in stalled last year. It developed a loud buzz when the system was turned on. I tried to trouble shoot it with the guy who installed it. We came to the conclusion it was from the he Marantz receiver which had to be sent back. I called George Meyer and they told me to try two grounded plug adapters and lo and behol the buzz was gone.friendly and helpful people.

Nothing says 'We Hate Our Customers' quite like contracting George Meyer AV to do your warranty service.

As an audio-novice I had lots of questions! Luckily for me Simba and the rest of the team were patient and very accommodating - walking me through all of the features of the new receiver and making sure I felt comfortable operating anything : )
