I will say, this is one of the smaller goodwill locations in Los Angeles BUT you can still find some gems from time to time if you have the patience to look. I always hit up the book section first and the employees there are always so kind and helpful. We chat books and recommendations and I love that about this location. Some of the prices on things are marked up really high but they come out to be a good deal if you wait for the colored sticker sale or try to scoop it up on Thursdays when it's $1.99. They had some Michael Kors bags and Dooney and Burke bags that looked to be in nice condition. I'm thinking about going back for those but I'm sure they'll go pretty quickly. Parking can be tricky on the weekends but there's also lots of street parking available. If you're really into thrifting, it's worth popping in every now and then to see what goods are available. Just like any other store. It can be a hit or a miss but the hunt is always the most fun.

The worst. The employees in the donation area have a terrible attitude and act as if I'm supposed to know where everything goes. The woman today was unbelievable rude, shouting at me for putting items in the wrong bin. There are no signs telling anyone where to put donations. I was so pissed off I ended up taking my stuff and leaving. I'll probably end up putting everything in the trash and recycling bins from now on because I'm tired of being bullied by Goodwill hires every time I go to drop off donations.

Beware of prices! The same products, new, are less at Amazon, TJ Max, Ross, Wallmart and Dollar stores!

The best Goodwill in LA! So clean, so organized, really great selection and prices! Some LA Goodwills are super expensive and messy, but this one is fantastic!

Store was easy to find. Very good free parking lote. Something helpful in LA.Store offers all kind of second hand stuff: clothing, shoes, home, etc. What I don’t like is the fact that they do not offer fitting rooms. For foreigners like me to go back to the store for exchange is not a good choice. The coupe mirrors in the stores were extremely dirty. You can find some good stuff but you need to go with enough time. The racks are hard to navigate because they are overloaded with clothes. Not enough space to move the hangers.Service was dry. Cashier Emi (Emely) was not helpful neither friendly.I have seen better good wills.

Only take off a star because I went in there to find things for my 2 year old and it was very limited. Otherwise, it’s a sweet and small goodwill with fake prices. :)

This the only Goodwill that actually keeps the 50 percent off tags in the store longer but they are hard to find. Corporate requires them to remove the 50 percent off tags into the back! A store employee at the Edgar James store told me this. What this means is no 50 percent off for the consumer! Corporation are greedy like this one. They price full price,no deals. These are your donations!Makes me ill. $12.99 fora ceramic. Finding a 50 percent off tag is like finding the holy grail! Coffee cups 2.99 to 9.99. Priced by the employees. They actually Google search the item and price according to the search! The days of cheap finds is over!

Great little Goodwill. They have some quality items (clothing, appliances, DVDs, home wear, etc). They have a pretty big drop-off, but sometimes they don’t take additional items due to having received so much stuff already.

Mabel you need a new career. You sound and act like you don’t want to be at work. Your negativity, unpleasant customer service screams the “I really don’t like my job”. I can go on details but I would rather save my energy on something else.

Typical Goodwill sometimes there are some good items, most of the time just junk.
