Although I don't have an account with Pacific Premier Bank I have had good customer service from them every time that I've been to the location near Farmer's Market on Fairfax Ave and 3rd St and can honestly say that their better than some of the previous banks that I've been with. This is really making me consider opening an account with them sometime within this week.

My husband’s family and now ours, has been with this bank when it was still under Gilmore and although we were sad to see some of the former employees leave, we are grateful that stalwarts Beverly and Marta are still holding down the fort! We have always felt in good hands thanks to their help, knowledge and guidance. The newer tellers are kind and helpful too. Thanks for still being our reliable, friendly neighborhood bank!

My family has been banking here since it was Gilmore Bank--40 years or so. The name has changed, but the personal attention and the "local banker" feel has not. I see my friends constantly struggling when dealing with their monolithic banks yet whenever there is an issue or a concern with my account, I am able to cut right to the nub with what sometimes feels like my own personal banker--that is how safe and comfortable the entire team makes you feel, most especially, the inestimable Beverly Hunt...And come on, those Friday cookies!

Even though my main branch is in Irvine, I use this Fairfax/Grove branch often (I live in Weho so it's convenient). The people who work here couldn't be more accommodating and professional. They get me in-out and always take care of each of my needs. I choose to stay with Pacific Premier in large part because of the type of customer service I receive. Definitely recommend this branch and this bank in general if you want personalized service VS feeling like part of the heard at the larger national banks. Five star!!

I’ve bank at Gilmore since 1973, my mother since 1957 or before. Where you bank, should be a personal experience where people know your name. For me, life is about relationships.

We started with this bank when they were simply known as Regents Bank. We decided to go with them because they were small and you were a name not just a number to them. Things changed rather quickly and they became Grandpoint Bank and took on more locations and then not much after that have been swallowed up by Pacific Premiere Bank. They have got to be one of the absolute worst banking corps. out there. We have had issue after issue with them. From not having our deposits made into the correct accounts, to paperwork issues, account opening issues because no one can figure out how to open a saving's for a minor there. And our latest was we opened an account for our baby(which we always do just after they are born) and not only did they again not know how to open an account for a minor because they say there just aren't parents doing that anymore but there was "ZERO" paperwork they could provide for us on the account after they figured out how to open it. We had to require a copy of the signed account details page. No where on the document does it list a minimum balance for out child's savings account to maintain. I checked our child's account and sure enough the last 2 months they have been charging(stealing) a service charge for a minimum balance that isn't met. We only ever put money in never take any out so what is there is what the account was started with and yet they are charging a minimum balance since the day of opening the account. An account held by a baby! We have watched this Bank crumble. We have decided it is time to move on and pull all 6 of our accounts from this bank. We would be better of with a few coffee cans buried in our back yard!

My advice to business customers is RUN don't WALK in the opposite direction if you ever consider doing business with these people. I have been in business 40 years, dealt with numerous financial institutions around the country and have never seen anything like this company. We made the payments for 8 years on a property that was 250K underwater after the market collapsed. I have high FICO score and substantial cash flow that could easily cover the payments on this property on an ongoing basis. I have millions of dollars in loans with other financial institutions who all seem to value my business (Bank of America, Wells Fargo etc.). Not the case with Grandpoint. The bank for years refused to work with us, granting short term extensions that made it difficult to make a meaningful investment into the property that would have fixed the problems they complained about. The credit officer who supervised the person I dealt with, would not even meet with me to discuss a resolution! I was told at one point that any commitments made by the prior bank officer we worked with were meaningless because "he doesn't work here anymore" If you like that kind of dishonesty, this is your bank! When I pointed out to the woman in Special Assets that she had misunderstood a 500K entry on my tax return, she replied she "did not have time to go through my tax returns". Bottom line is that Grandpoint forced us to sell a property (that could have been easily worked out to benefit both sides) at a substantial loss. The way I was treated was often petty and disrespectful. I can assure you they have no interest in doing anything that will benefit the customer. I sincerely believe they are only looking to maximize short term profits and will literally destroy anyone or anything in their path if it benefits them.
