Friendly, helpful staff shared lovely vintage dresses that fit and in the range of styles the Bride was looking for.

I'm so disappointed and saddened by my experience here. I have never been treated so poorly. I purchased my wedding dress online, drove 2 hours to pick it up and asked if I could quickly try it on for the experience. Pixie was so kind and let me know they had a client coming in 10 minutes but let me pop in (it took 2 minutes) the woman in the showroom made it VERY CLEAR that my presence was not welcome nor allowed. After I acknowledged it, she continued her commentary. It was unprofessional and embarrassing. I always thought my wedding dress experience would be and enjoyable one, but sadly that was not the case..

I visited Happy Isles when searching for a wedding dress, and am SO GLAD I DID - this place is a treasure! The boutique is full of gorgeous, unique vintage gowns and pantsuits. The employees have a deep knowledge of vintage fashion; trying on clothes in front of strangers can be awkward, but the employees were my hype squad and made me feel comfortable and beautiful! I found my ceremony dress and a Sunday brunch outfit, all under budget, all unique pieces - highly recommend Happy Isles for the important events in your life. Vintage clothing does tend to run small, fortunately I was able to fit into most pieces I chose (I'm typically a street size 4).

Happy Isles is what Vintage dreams are made of! Lily is truly a trailblazer of her industry and not only has an exceptional fashion eye, but is extremely knowledgeable about Vintage couture. The pieces come to life as she explains their history which is an experience in itself. She is guaranteed to make you feel chic and the pieces are ones that will stay in your closet forever. She has gone above and beyond to save me before special events and I'm so grateful to know there are business owners like herself!

I snagged an appointment with Lily just 10 days before my elopement. Shopping for a wedding dress during the pandemic has felt overwhelming and defeating because of the restrictions many stores have. Lily immediately made me feel at ease and you can trust you're in really good hands when you shop with her. She has an amazing eye - every piece in the salon is stunning whether it's your style or not. I had so much fun with her and will be recommending her to all of my friends when they get married or need a dress for a special event!

Do not go here unless you are a size zero. My experience here was extremely negative. I'm a young bride (23) who loves vintage clothes and is a size 8, which they claim to carry. I had carefully looked through the dresses posted on Instagram and it was stated that there were dresses in my range. However, none of the ones I saw online actually fit me. I could try on one white dress in the entire store. That's it. Another dress they put me in was certainly not a wedding dress. It could not fully zip up and they wanted me to show my wedding party, regardless of how poorly it fit. This is especially startling when you realize that the dresses come with no alterations and can only be bought as-is. I was shocked by how they took no care as to whether something looked proper on me. In fact, I felt there was a serious mean girl attitude. I was paying to be there and was treated like a bug! The owner is rail-thin (good for her!) and lacks any empathy for women who are more average-sized. I understand that vintage clothing often comes in smaller sizes but there were no options and it was a waste of $40 - which is a steep appointment cost for a wedding salon in Los Angeles. Now I see it's been bumped to $185 which in my opinion is disgusting. I would never want another girl who looks like me to not be able to try on any dresses for that absurd price! I highly recommend you visit LOHO Bride instead. I had a much more positive experience there.
