“Motion Picture Industry Pension & Health Plans I’ve been a member since 1990. I retired permanently disabled and they have always been great . There is underground parking where you take an elevator to the main floor. If you park out front just enter the front door and go left , you pass security as you reach their 3 windows for assistance.
They have always been fantastic for me. Easy to take care of to do a once a year update.
I can also mail paperwork they need. It’s easy to call and ask questions about my Blue Cross MPI insurance. What my allowances are. They will send a list of Drs covered outside CA. I chose Blue Cross because they allow me to research Drs and choose the best for me.
If you go to Bob Hope in Hollywood or the Clinic on Ventura blvd , or out to the Old Folks home and clinics EVERYTHING IS FREE. Bob Hope set that up. I’ve had extensive medical experience and I didn’t care for some of the Drs so I tried a few. Diana Ferguson I’d not recommend. I discovered she wasn’t giving me all the possibilities because I’m a nervous patient. So she chose, and badly. I ended up with Dr Kim who has left MPI.
I’m in Minnesota now and I prefer to go to Studio City for Dentist, Dr Brill for eye glasses and Dr Depp is at the fantastic rehabilitation at first mostly for musicians but they branched out and I get better results there than any rehabilitation. They work with my back , kneck, bad hands and bone on bone in T 7 8 and 9. Highly recommend them”
