Obviously everything is fantastic but the music can be a bit loud. Even in meditation room, it can be quite distracting. Not to mention coworking areas— can be hard to concentrate or get some rest in. Other than that, it is THE gym to go to. Equinox could never ?? My favorite thing has got to the be the bathroom and sauna, truly feels like a second home

Heimat is quite the spot! It's definitely on the pricier side, but if you're into making the most of top-notch amenities, it's worth every penny. Fair warning, it's a bit of an influencer hotspot, but hey, that's Hollywood for you. The pool area is gorgeous. Just keep in mind it can get a bit packed. All in all, a solid choice if you're looking for quality and don't mind a bit of a scene.

Nice place but over crowded. Especially the coworking space. And Jency Zephirinfrom Membership & VIP Relations ghosts you when you want to cancel your membership. Apparently if you're not willing to pay, you're not a VIP anymore ?

Gorgeous and Amazing Gym / Co-working Space. Once you understand the way to book classes, and how the wait list and confirmation system works, you settle in and become a part of the Heimat culture and this place turns into a second home. It’s Especially great for those who like a nice space to work away from home and would like a place to hang by the pool.I’ve never seen the gym too busy, even during ‘rush hour’You become a part of a community here. Super LGBTQIA+ friendly etc. I love it ! :)

Aesthetically pleasing gym. I love this place. Great variety of classes and events offered to members. Cons: the heimat app sucks and the restaurant (mother tongue) is very okay

I have 4 friends who are members, and I am personally a wellness/fitness professional with 7K IG followers and they still never contacted me back about membership. Emailed and called multiple membership consultants. I’d rather just do pool days at hotels and go to boutique studios than give Heimat my money at this point

Not that HEIMAT needs another review but it truly is a wow place. I don’t live in LA full time but was lucky to get an invite while in town and took advantage of the facilities. Everything was beautiful, staff was so kind, and aside from the (beautiful & stunning bodies of so many people) I felt like a prince! (My body is NOT up to par of a lot of these LA boys!) When I am back or in LA full time, HEIMAT might become my second home. I wish they’d open in NYC!

Heimat LA - 7/24/23Having travelled the globe for majority of my adult life, the membership club model is not unfamiliar to me - with well over a decade living in London and MUCH time spent at the gold standard of clubs such as Annabel's, 5 Hertford Street, The Arts Club, Maison Estelle, The 22 .....As a founding member of Heimat I've watched the club, team and it's membership grow since opening just over 12mnths ago. A lifestyle concept still fresh to the LA scene spread over five floors blending wellness, fitness, rooftop pool, co-working space, special events and networking. Including two entire floors dedicated to working out with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, reformer pilates, cardio, spin, boxing, yoga etc. Yes there is an application process. Like with any similar type of establishment - not everyone gets accepted to every club and not every club is the right fit for every person. In my personal experience the core membership base is certainly one of the most friendly in LA, diverse and interesting mix of people across both the corporate and creative industries. *not to say there aren't some who present above their station. Although you'll get that anywhere. Like with anywhere. Not every single thing is perfect all of the time .... but the pros out weigh the cons and if you're looking for a community of hopefully like minded people then I'd recommend coming, checking it out and hopefully seeing you around the pool or at the bar for social hour !M.A

I applied, got accepted, asked for a tour. Given the standard contract is long and the distance is quite far, I asked if a shorted contract would be possible. What happened next? I got ghosted! By a gym management. Honestly Heimat, shame on you. That’s extremely unprofessional and an amateur move… if I hold any equity in this venture, I would seriously reconsider who I hire to manage my gym. Joke!

Heimat is an absolutely incredible club. It's everything that Soho House wants to be but is not. That being said, it's significantly more expensive than Soho House. Soho is $2701 per year. Heimat is $4,560 per year ($380 per month with parking just for the membership) BUT if you're rich - it's worth the price tag and membership application. The club is pristine, service is A1, and everything is under one roof. While Soho House is only a restaurant and meeting space, Heimat has everything: a library, meeting spaces, Mother Tongue, a cocktail bar, a private pool deck with service exclusively for members, a full service spa, multiple workout areas, classes, sauna, showers, etc. By far the fanciest social club in all of Los Angeles! As far as Yelp is concerned, it seems the only reviews that aren't positive are from non-members, or people who applied for membership but were not accepted.

Trying to cancel my membership after the initial 12 month commitment has been such an unnecessary hassle. I signed up June 11, 2022. Came with 1-year commitment. Been to the club a few times, but it's boring, sub-par workout equipment, no self-parking (don't want valet touching my car), and no ability to bring guests to this social club (unless you want to pay $100/guest/visit...what a joke). I have zero interest in continuing and hardly come. So i tried to cancel:1) I emailed their main desk and they gave me their membership email address to email 2) Emailed their membership department to cancel as of June 11 and no reply3) Emailed again a few days later and they replied saying if I need to cancel even earlier they can take paperwork. But no actual cancellation confirmation. 4) I emailed back and said I don't need to cancel early just cancel on 6/11/23. Then again, NO REPLY. 5) I email them again to ask them to confirm cancellation, they don't do that, but email me saying they can't prorate months. Still NO CONFIRMATION of cancellation. Absolutely horrible service or club. At this point, anything they charged will simply be charged back to them through credit card. Stay away as far as possible. Go to Equinox or SoHo House. Stay away...trust me.

HEIMAT is amazing! The equipment and pool are great but the staff is even better. Kylie and Erika make the club feel like a community. Juanito and Vanessa teach classes that you have to take!

I'm giving Heimat 5 stars solely based on the valet parking staff. They are the first people I see when I go to work out and they are the last people I see when I leave and they always are such a delight to see!A major shout out to Mauricio and Juver as they work so hard and do it all with a smile on their face and top notch hospitality!
