Just rented a car from the Venice location and had the worst experience with the poorest customer service. There was a lack of communication, instruction, and a blatant disregard for customer comfortability. Yes I got the car in a timely manner but the ladies attitude made me not even want to do business here. They didn't tell me how much gas I had to bring the vehicle back with or anything. Not to mention another customer making complaints on upcharges. I am NOT looking forward to the interactions I will have with them upon returning the vehicle.The service here is subpar and needs to be managed better.

culver city hertz 10603 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90034 This was the worst customer service ever They are the most inconsiderate rude people i have ever encountered. I have never known for a manager and his employee to treat customers this way. On 1/12 at 12:45pm i rented a car from hertz culver city . I placed the reservation same day. I reserved the car at 9:48am to picked up from the culver city hertz at12:30 pm. I reserved a intermediate electric polestar or similar for one day at $75 . I arrived at the culver cityhertz around 12:45pm. I walked into the store and a girl employee was helping a couple before me, When she came back in she said how can i help you are you here for uber? And i said no i am here for a pick up. she says last name? and i told her my last name and she said i dont see it. And i said i rented it a couple of hours ago. She said oh well can you come back at 3pm i dont have the car you reserved. I said well i can take a nonelectric car thats comparable and she proceeded to tell me i have will have to pay more and i said no im not paying more im already paying 75 a day. why do i have to pay more if you dont have the car i reserved and she says because if i change it its now considered a walk in. And i said but i reserved the car. Then she says i can give you the economy size electric car for the price you reserved. And i said why cant i get something comparable thats nonelectric and she says you have to pay more, then a man starts yelling at me from the back office. You are a last minute reservation! you should have reserved the car two days in advance. I said i couldnt my car just broke down and i have rented here many times. He then comes out and is yelling atme i have never seen you before you probably rented here two years ago and i said no i rented a tesla here exactly a month ago. And he says i have never seen you! i then said you are so rude i am being attacked here i am not trying to argue with you all i did was reserve a car on the website and now your telling me i have to pay more because you dont have the car i reserved. Just give me the economy electric car. I was shaking and about to cry. I said the westwood location just gives you something comparable to what you rented and the manager yells from the back well go rent at westwood then!! They are terrible customer service stay away!

Been renting a car every month when I’m in town. Great experience with George and Mark. The only complaint I have it’s impossible to get someone to pick up the phone.

A rental car agency with no cars. The agent's advice--just drive to LAX and then you should be able to get a car. Also that car will cost more. Never using these guys again.

I recently had a car reservation from July 1st to July 5th with a scheduled pickup time of 9am. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I was informed that there were no available cars and had to wait until 10:15 am to finally receive the vehicle. The delayed pickup was an inconvenience, but I was hopeful that the rest of my rental experience would go smoothly.However, upon checking my receipt, I was shocked to discover an additional charge of $60 labeled as a "late return fee." This fee was completely unjustified, as I returned the car on July 5th at the agreed-upon time of 10:15 am.It is incredibly disappointing to experience not only a delayed pickup but also to be charged for the management's apparent irresponsibility. I expected better customer service and fair treatment from the car rental company.Overall, this car rental experience fell short of my expectations, and I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously. I would caution potential customers to double-check their receipts and ensure they are not charged unjustified fees.

I wish I could leave 0 stars! PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS BELOW AS A WARNING! I thought what happened to them would not happen to me and I was wrong. This is the first time I will ever have to report a business to the better business bureau. We rented a car last weekend that we had reserved and PAID for. Then, on the day of our trip we are told that there are no cars available and that we are on the bottom of the list based on other people's statuses etc. I asked where in the SIGNED contract it stated that I was not guaranteed a car and that there was a class system that would determine I would not have a car if they ran out. That was not presented to me. It was not in the contract. Then, I was told the ONLY alternative was to pay more for a smaller car. Are you kidding me? Why do I have to reap the consequences of their bad business practices? Also this alternative was never even presented to us, it took lots of negotiation and questions to even be offered this horrible solution. We ended up getting the car that was more expensive but are currently in the midst of conversation with the Better Business B over this fraudulent practice. George was the manager and who we talked to.

Easy, convenient, and friendly! Downloaded the yelp app to leave this review. The car was clean and ready to go when we picked up, super quick exchange. And we saved SO much money going here rather than the LAX Hurtz! Definitely the most seamless rental car experience I've had and the people who work here are so kind and friendly.

Does not track inventory and allows you to make reservation when no cars available. Unnecessary with the software tools available. Not worth the risk of not having a car when you need one.

I made a reservation through Expedia for a 7 passenger SUV to be picked up Monday morning at 9am. I arrived on time, gave them the reservation number, and they said, "yes, I see your reservation, but I'm afraid we don't have the car you reserved." They gave a bunch of ridiculous excuses, and tried to pass off a smaller car to me. They said they would call the family currently renting the size car I need to see if they would be returning it in time...crazy unprofessional stuff. I asked to speak to the district manager. On the phone that manager basically insulted me and treated me as if I were being unreasonable. 90 minutes later I am finally getting a car. I hope it works out.

I rented a Tesla here from Friday to Monday and Jose and George helped me out they were great. Jose made sure I got the car I wanted and as well as informed me of how the process was gonna be and everything I needed to know about the car .he was very helpful and returning the car was a really quick got me in out and on the go .I had such a good experience I will be renting another car from here soon I will be having Jose and George help me out again!

Worst customer service ever! Highly disappointed. They doesn’t know what reservation means n how to treat as basic human beings. Jose is the worst and we felt he is highly racist by the way he is treating customers partially. Wasted an hour and eventually delayed to get my flight. Non reliable and unprofessional- find some other better hertz
