The worst car rental experience I ever had. I had a reservation at 9 am. When I arrive there, I was told they can only use credit card with chip, which I never knew when I made the reservation. And he told me to find another credit card with chip and come back later. So yea, I said I will borrow my friend’s card and come back, he said it’s totally fine. However, when I finally found a card with chip, they told me that the card used for reservation much match the driver’s license name, which I never been told this morning. So they said I only have to cancel my reservation. I don’t blame the guy serve for me this afternoon, but I do feel bad for didn’t being notified anything related this morning. And this just literally ruined my plan.

By far the worst experience I ever had with Hertz! Booked manager special from here to San Diego. But when I got there the only option is a half charged EV that covers less than 100 miles or pay EXTRA for an upgrade to a hybrid car. No gas cars, no fully charged EVs, no other options. I already paid a premium to drop the car 150 miles away but I can't even have a car that can cover that distance. This is just ridiculous. I was advised that I can find a charging station to charge it to full, ONLY take an hour or two. If you can't provide a car that can cover the distance then don't have it as an option. I end up having to pay extra for an upgrade to a hybrid car to get where I need to. The cherry on top, after I drove out, I realize the gas is not full. If you are traveling and on a time crunch, avoid this location at all cost.

Extremely long waiting time both for renting and returning a car. As a president circle member, I was expecting to get a car and immediately leave there when I arrived, but it took exactly an hour. After returning the key to the office, I requested a receipt in paper format, the staff said he needs to check the car to give me a receipt and went to the garage. I was sitting and waiting. After he came back, he served another customer and it took very long, and after the customer left, he didn’t call me out and continued to do something. 15 minutes later, I went to the reception desk again and he asked me what I still want. Obviously he just forgot. I asked for my receipt again, it was 50 minutes after I returned the key. Actually the car was amazing and the staff were all friendly and nice, maybe they are just incompetent. They need to reeducate their staff or assign more people for the busy day/time.

Thanks to Albert we had a great experience renting a car with Hertz. It’s a small location inside of the Westin but everyone was super nice and helpful to find it. We had a great car and an easy check in and check out.

The place that ruined my trip. I made a reservation 5 days in advance, but they said there was no car available on the day of reservation, and if I wanted to rent a vehicle other than the one I reserved, I had to wait 4 hours. Worst company.

Booked my car a week ago, but upon arrival found that Hertz has overbooked and no cars are available. Waiting for a return which will be an hour or more. Not happy. :-( Did not expect such poor service from the "No. 1" company. They obviously didn't try hard at all.

Not the worst, but not a good car rental experience even I am a presidential circle member, the staff called me at 5pm to inform me that my rental for tmrw 12pm is unavailable, he said you can either cancel it or offer you a downgrade ( I rent a model 3 but they say they only have chevy Bolt)

Literally the worst experience I had at a car rental company. I wish I could give 0 stars. As a President’s Circle member here at Hertz, I never experienced such a rude and unaccommodating worker. I came in right when my reservation started and he claimed that he was waiting for me, he did not wait even for a second! He closed immediately before closing and before my arrival (I came right on time) and even though he was still on site he refused to honor my reservation and told me to go to Enterprise…really weird to even tell me to do that like you should be trying to rent out a car you’re working at, not a different rental company. Once again, never experienced such an unaccommodating worker.

Overall great experience! I booked for 10:30am but they couldn’t give me the car until 2:30pm. But they still worked and brought me a Polestar for my EV rental.

There is no service here, extortionists work here! I made an advance reservation through Amex with this Herz for a trip to Sacramento. I arrived at 11:00, at my booking time, but they were only willing to give me an electric car, which I would not be able to use to get to my destination, although I booked a gasoline car! I was offered to pick up a gasoline car only after 16:00 ! Now, if I’m ready to pay them an extra $20, then they’re ready to find a replacement for me right away!!! I don’t mind the $20, but it’s just extortion!!! It's a pity that you can't give minus five stars!!!

Booked my rental car with Hertz 2 months ahead and picked it up at this site. The service by the Hertz team here was nice and professional. From the time I showed up for pick up to driving the rental car out, it took us about 20 minutes. I am grateful that I was assigned a brand new Chevy Malibu. The return was eventless. There was no surprise charge to the final bill. Overall my rental experience here was satisfactory. Thank you Hertz rental team here!

Location was easy to find if you ask anyone who works there. Small office. Went an hour earlier to see if I could get the car earlier. The employee said that they did not have a small car for me but could offer me a bigger car for an extra $5/day, but if I wanted to wait an hour I could get it for free if there was no other car available. I was surprised that they didn't have a car reserved for me already as I had already reserved it prior to coming.... I was a bit disappointed in that bit. So, I waited an hour to see if someone had returned a small car. Thank goodness someone had returned one and I was able to get a smaller car. Service was OK, only that bit was annoying, and I have read prior to coming that the service here was not very good as they usually "did not have cars available." Otherwise, I got the car and had no problem after

Wish I could give zero star rating!!Very very bad service. The guys at the Hertz desk were exceptionally rude and did not care about keeping us wait for 6 hours to get the car (which was rented and paid for 1 month prior to the pick up)They just don’t care! The guy during car pick up was different from the guy who was present during drop off. This guy was worst because even though I dropped the keys off (he was rushing to lunch so he told me that my receipt will be emailed) I did not get the receipt until 1 week later with late fee and penalty for extra days (was counted for extra days how??? I don’t know!!!) saying I did not return the car until few days later!! WHAT THE HELL?!!!Shocked to see how bad the customer service is. You don’t get to talk to any agent. Waited for hours and hours on call for multiple days to talk to someone to explain this whole situation, but no use0 rating for empathy,0 rating for service, 0 rating overall to hertz. Will never again rent from you guys!!!!
