They exchanged for me. At no cost, love the service and family who runs it is doing great business. Why run to Home Depot when Andy’s Hardware is around the corner. “Well there are many stores but I am sure that if something is missing that is not in other stores I will find it here. This person does not want to change the entire bathroom extractor fan and it is quite old. This store does have it. And after looking for it in several places.”
“I want to share an experience that I had with the Marina del Rey Home Depot. I went in for one thing, came out with 20, just like at a grocery store. I bought eight new outdoor chairs for my deck. I had a friend pick him up. There were only seven, and most of them had paint all over it. It was definitely paint because I tried washing one of the chairs. I emailed HD cares, and only got automated response. The automated response says someone will get back to you within 24 hours. That never happened.
The reason I'm writing this five-star review, is only because of Tanya, the customer service manager that helped me at store level when I came back to the store to get the wrong righted. She was a pleasure to work with. She was courteous, efficient, and smart. I like smart people because they think outside the box and find solution to the problem. Two days later, I had eight clean chairs that were delivered to my house. They picked up the seven that were damaged with paint and took him back to the store.
Whatever Home Depot is paying Tanya, it's not enough. They should give her a raise, or even better, promote her to teach and train other customer service individuals at the Home Depots nationwide. I know good service when I see it because I've been teaching and training sales and customer service for over 40 years.

“Ricardo is amazing!! He really went ábove and beyond beyond to help me, he wasn’t even from the cabinet department and he still did everything in his power to help me. Showing great initiative. Most workers would be like ummm that’s not my department, let me get them to help you but he flipped through the cabinet binder and everything to try and help me to the best of his ability and he was able to help me determine the cabinets I needed. Being in management I like to name drop those who show outstanding customer service as many great workers go unnoticed.”
“I go to this Home Depot often for purchasing supplies for work. I like that they always have plenty in stock and even more items than other Home Depot stores I’ve been to. There is plenty of staff which is nice but I removed 1 star for customer care. Like I said I come here often and because I am making many different types of transactions for different jobs I have to use different credit cards, job names, etc. So I always use the self checkout. I know theft can be an issue so I understand they want to “help me” with my checkout but it is so much easier for me to do it. I even tell them they can stand next to me and watch if they are concerned about me not scanning something. But it just seems like the employees get upset when I don’t ask for assistance. It happens more than not. If it was a 1 time thing I wouldn’t remove a star but it’s just about every time I go there.”
“We went to several stores yesterday, after recently moving. I was telling my Husband that Customer Service just is not what it used to be.
Then we walked into Lowe’s and found Erik and David! They went above and beyond to help us find everything we needed. They spent 15 minutes with us getting everything they could help us with! The. They took the time to give me all the aisle numbers for the rest of the items we needed.
I let them know that before walking into their store yesterday, I was beginning to believe that great customer service just did not exist anymore!
They proved me completely wrong! Thank you Erik and David for all your help! You both were beyond amazing! In today’s world it is hard not to feel like we as customers no longer matter!

“Candy took my call and was so nice. In no time Greg showed up to the rescue. Greg did have to get someone to help him with the job which I was worried the job was going to be costly but the price wasn't to bad. Both gentlemen took care of business and everything was checked before they left and everything was working great.”
