I visited Ivanhoe with my family, hoping for a pleasant dining experience, but was left quite disappointed. As someone with Celiac disease, it's crucial for me to have gluten-free options. Although I understand not every restaurant has a gluten-free menu, I expect the staff to be attentive to my dietary restrictions. I specifically requested that the fried onions, which are not gluten-free, be served on the side of my fillet mignon. Unfortunately, they arrived on top of the steak, making my meal inedible for me. Additionally, despite reminding the server twice, my sparkling water never arrived. Moreover, the condition of the restroom was appalling; it was dirty and completely out of toilet paper. This lack of cleanliness and the disregard for customer requests, especially from a dietary perspective, is unacceptable. It not only shows a disregard for customer health but also poor service delivery. I hope Ivanhoe improves their service and becomes more attentive to customers with special dietary needs in the future. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant to others, particularly those who have specific food allergies or requirements.

Went in for brunch and had some amazing white and red sangria. Ordered red chilaquiles with steak and eggs, and it was delicious. Egg roll appetizers are highly recommended.

What the hell happened to the music? I've been eating here for like a decade and can't say I ever noticed the music before, but this time I've endured what feels like the soundtrack for a hyper-positive suburban mom spin class with enough late 2000s pop torch songs to make a well person vomit. Please Ivanhoe, don't ruin you for me.

Decided to give them few more chances after getting flaked on. The first time I had the beef pot pie, and it was pretty good - flaky on the outside and warm inside. The star of the show was the truffle fries which I am now obsessed with. On the second visit, I had the chicken piccata and it was scrumptious. I also had bites of the chilaquiles, which was tasty, but my friend said it was salty. My other friend ordered a quesadilla and they gave her a bowl of salsa which was hilarious... maybe they ran out of the small serving containers. Han Sol was our waiter and he was very attentive and friendly. It's very empty on a weekday evening. We were the only ones inside. There's an outdoor patio area with western vibes. Spacious parking lot. As a bonus, they allowed us to split checks among a big group.

The Ivanhoe was a great experience: good food, good tunes, and great service! We had dinner there - my husband got the chicken parmesan and I had the BLTA - both were incredible. We also tried the Oaxacan Old Fashioned and the Oaxacan Mule - both excellent! Our waiter was attentive, friendly and made excellent recommendations- thank you Han-Sol!

This place used to be wonderful but the quality of the food has really declined, and the prices have been hiked up way too high. Its a pity because the staff are lovely and the patio is beautiful.

Ivanhoe is a beautiful restaurant. We went there during happy hour. There were spacious onsite parking, the second we stepped in the patio, we felt refreshed. If you pay attention on their doors, fountains and trees etc.. They have a very lovely patio with some antique vintage feel combined with the modern country. Inside dining area was nice too, with more mid century style. I enjoyed the vintage style a lot! Service was good, we were well attended and served. We ordered Fish and Chips, LA Burger and Mimosas, at first sight I thought there were only 3 small pieces Fish, but the second I took a bite, wowwww! So fresh and delicious! They have one of the freshest fish n chips in the states. The last great one I had was in a local restaurant in Alaska. But Ivanhoe can really beat them. The home made fish was so tender, soft, crunchy outside and tasty as a whole. Chips are great! They have the skinny skin on chips which is very crispy and delicious. LA burger is one of the best burger I have ever had in LA. The charcoal grilled patty was so smoky, juicy and tender, you can tell the difference straight away from first bite. Mimosas were great too! I don't get why people judge about $20 meal in a very strictly and unfriendly way. Please think hard on this, the inflation, the gas the eggs everything gone up, even though you cook at home it will easily cost you over $15. For this profession quality of food and vibe and service, I will be Ivanhoe's regular customer. And it's definitely the best place to host parties and events.

This place has terrible service. It took them like 40 minutes to bring 2 out of the 5 plates, and when my dad got his food they gave him scrambled eggs instead of the over easy ones he asked for. When they brought the plate he asked for, they forgot to bring the potatoes that came with them. This restaurant needs better service, and my nephew hated the max and cheese. It was drowning in cheese, and it barely had flavor. The chicken also had no flavor, and the only thing that gave it flavor was the breaded part. I hope this restaurant improves, but for now, it is absolutely terrible.
