2 yrs since neck and lower spine surgery. I can bend ,twist and no pain with everyday activities.Great job.Maybe you should invent something to replace foot surgerial boot. I leaves knee damage from use. So to fix one thing to gain another problem.

I had surgery from him 3 years ago. Now I'm having issues, and he is nowhere to be found. He wouldn't see me until I paid the balance on my account. Now his number doesn't work and there is no website for him. He was all about the money.

Placing my trust in this doctor was a mistake. Believing his dire warnings as to what lay ahead for me ie. losing my ability to walk, I believed moving forward with surgery was in my best interest. Now, 8 months post surgery, my symptoms have gotten worse. Something went sideways with the cervical spine surgery , resulting in a hematoma, that required an additional surgery the next day. The hospital stay was an unmitigated nightmare! Resulting in the need to call in the rapid response team and a move to the ICU where the hematoma was diagnosed, necessitating the additional surgery. Communication with this doctors and his office is horrible! On the date of my 6 month follow up I found out by chance that the doctor was not going to be in and I would need to reschedule. Of course current imaging was needed for this follow up, and this doctor was to follow up with my insurance, who denied the order request, to explain why the new imaging was needed. I was told someone would follow up with me with a status report prior to my "rescheduled" follow up appointment. No one followed up with me with a status report or anything else for that matter! As I felt it would be a waste of time to "follow up" with no new imaging of any sort, I did not bother with trying to keep the rescheduled appointment. They couldn't even be bothered to take time to reach out to me about the no show. At this juncture, I have no way to prove or disprove this doctors assessment which prompted me to have surgery. My confidence I made the right decision has been completely obliterated! I was a very active guy. Now all of the activities I enjoyed are almost completely un-doable. This doctor is a smooth talker and I allowed myself to be taken in by his manner.

This man is a life saver, he has operated on me multiple times unfortunately because of my heritage and the illnesses that were passed down to me it has required numerous surgeries. I would never trustanother surgeon. He is the best. His staff is also amazing

WARNING! The Infection is back ( or maybe was not entirely eradicated the 1st time). After surgery with Dr Khoo my mother suffered severe infection at location of surgery L3/L4, was on a pick line delivering antibiotics directly to the heart. She almost died. Now we just discovered some infection remained in the bone, and has spread. L3/L4 have completely collapsed, L5 is degenerate, L2 is narrowing and infection degeneration spreading to L1. Have your husband checked again for infection lingering in the bone / vertebrae. Nothing will show in the blood, but the infection quietly continues to eat at the bones / vertebrae

Now Bedridden, a pain killer zombie, in diapers, 24 hour in home care, my mother was an active vibrant woman prior to back surgery with Dr Larry Khoo August 2021. My mother almost died from surgery location bone infection at the location of the surgery. She is being treated with antibiotics pumped thru a pick line directly into her heart.Dr Khoo’s office is closed, his office telephone is dead, see California Medical board disciplinary action against Dr Larry Khoo.

Is Dr. Khoo still practicing? I can't find a good working number and the LA Spine Clinic website isn't accessible.

Has anyone heard from or seen Dr. Khoo recently? He has performed 5 surgeries on my fiance and he is having moderate to severe issues, but Dr. Khoo's number is disconnected and the hospital says they don't know where he is. We had a great relationship with him so this is baffling. If anyone has contact I'd appreciate a response, even if he's not practicing we need his surgical records and can't get them. Thank you.

My husband has seen Dr Khoo for more than 8 years. He had 8 spine surgeries by him and a broken hip repair ed by Dr Khoo. The last time we saw him my husband had a broken rod in his back. We called the Dr on his private phone number and told him my husband needed to get in to see him ASAP...We even called the office staff a number of times. We did not hear from the Dr nor the office staff. My husband had been dropped by physical therapy workers in the hospital which fractured his hip..but it was not caught by the radiologist until a couple of years later when he refractured it.We did have great faith in Dr Khoo but lost it when he would not return our calls or have the office staff call us.We feel Dr Khoo threw us under the bus and left us to find another Dr somewhere else

It looks like we made the biggest mistake of our lives by letting Dr. Khoo operate on my husband. Dr. Khoo talks a good game and is very charismatic however it appears that he really only cares about money and not his patients. This wouldn't be so bad if the work he did was acceptable but it's not.My husband had surgery 3 years ago and it looks like he will have to have it redone by a qualified surgeon. When my husband showed mri's of the surgery Dr. Khoo performed, other surgeons were appalled. My husband went to Dr. Khoo for an outpatient procedure which turned into 3 surgeries and a raging antibiotic infection which required intravenous drugs for 4 months. When complications from the first surgery appeared Dr. Khoo was nowhere to be found. It took a week of torment to even get him to talk to us.The whole experience was terrifying - I was not sure my husband was going to live. It also cost us tons of money in lost wages for both me and my husband. I was afraid to leave his side during his months in the hospital.Dr. Khoo also falsified medical records and claimed my husband fell which caused some problems. He never fell - I was by his side constantly. So save yourself some grief and stay away from this man. don't be fooled by his charm.I could go on and on. The man is a narcissistic menace.
