I’m truly a fan of Kimpton Hotels usually—but this location taught me that not all Kimptons are alike. The restaurant/meeting/bar area is aesthetically pleasing. However, the rest of the hotel not so much. The walls in the hallway were scuffed/paint scratched. The furniture in the room had scratches. There were water stains on the furniture. I was placed in one room at the beginning—the couch had pulls in the threads with debris on the window sill. I asked to be moved to another room—rust around the claw foot tub with what appeared to be a hand print that was covered with paint on the wall. The outdoor furniture was dirty and uncared for. I understand it’s outside—so. The elements. However—I’ve stayed at numerous hotels and they make every attempt to keep the furniture managed. The water offered in the room had pink stickers on it stating the price $8. Usually theres a card listing prices. I felt like I was at 7eleven. I only planned to stay for one night and due to a stressful week—didn’t feel like moving to another hotel. But. What was supposed to be a relaxing one-day retreat ended up being a less than subpar experience. If the hotel looked like the main lobby area—then great. But sadly it doesn’t.

I’m an LA local and I love Ever Bar, great vibes, great drinks and the bar staff - Rachel, Stef & Zack are all amazing! Highly recommend for anyone in the neighborhood!

The location of this hotel is perfect, we walked to the Chinese theatre and picked up a hop on hop off bus tour from there. We booked a room with a view of the Hollywood sign and wow what a view. The room is spacious with a lovely seating area. Comfortable beds and good size bathroom. All very tastefully decorated and very clean. No noise from anywhere on 16th floor.The hotel has a lovely lounge/bar area with complimentary wine5-6pm which is a nice touch when you have had a busy day sightseeing and come back to relax.The Jane Q restaurant serves delicious pizzas and also breakfast. The tea and coffee is also free up to 10am.The staff are very friendly, special mention to Danielle and Chris. We look forward to staying here we return to L.A. later in the year.

Comfortable Kimpton in Hollywood, just a block away from Hollywood Blvd. Was upgraded to a room on a high floor overlooking the Hollywood sign. Staff was friendly and helpful. Appreciated that Kimpton is very dog friendly. Valet was helpful and efficient, though a bit expensive at $60/day. Was a bit cold and rainy so didn’t get to use the pool but it looked nice. Gym was nice, with free weights, a few treadmills and elliptical, and a peloton.

Every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff was notable. My wife and I had early drinks in the bar followed by free wine hour 5-6pm. We would leave for dinner and come back for evening drinks. The service all nights of our stay was and easy 5 stars. From check-in to check-out you guys rocked it. Thanks for a great stay in LA.

Overall horrible! Don't go there!Hidden fees. Amenity charge of $30/day not disclosed until you get there. Rooms power outlets and lights dont work, hotel maintenance doesn't fix it despite complain. Front desk service is bad. Unprofessional housekeeping, always forgetting to put on towels after cleaning.

We booked hotel just for few hours rest, arrived at 3 am and can’t open our door because of system error of hotel. Hotel didn’t help us and offered wait on reception till solve the problem.

The staff here really welcomes you in! Everyone from management, to the cooks, to the valet is warm and embracing!The location was even better than I expected. I was walking my dog and casually just ended up on the Hollywood walk of Fame within 5 minutes! Plus the view of the Hollywood sign from the room can't be beat!The lobby is cozy and always filled with vibrant happy energy from those enjoying a round of complimentary wine to those enjoying a game of pool

I've had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel twice, and each time has been a delightful experience.Room: The rooms offer an amazing view, a comfy bed, and cute welcome messages that add a personal touch. The highlight, undoubtedly, is the inviting bathtub—pure bliss!Staff: The staff is a standout—friendly, helpful, and genuinely nice. Their warm demeanor contributes significantly to the overall positive atmosphere.Location: While not in the center, it's a manageable walk to Hollywood. The only minor downside is encountering some homeless individuals on the way. Having a nearby mall would be a plus, but everything is within walking distance.Food: JaneQ is a gem with fantastic coffee and delightful food. The pizza, in particular, stood out as a favorite.I stayed for a total of 13 nights, splitting my time between September and December. Despite a night of blackout, the staff went above and beyond, providing coffee and bread for guests—a testament to their support and dedication. Despite the minor hiccup, my overall experience was incredibly pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel for its cozy ambiance, friendly staff, and convenient location. Can't wait for my next visit!
