I walked in to this place unexpectedly during a neighborhood walk. I was greeted by the owner whom I found out runs the place with his mother, both of Dutch descent. I found this place to be cute, quaint and cozy. The outside area is very nice since it shares an alleyway with the flower shop across the street. I got an almond milk latte and the turkey and provolone sandwich and they were both really good. Definition of a mom and pop place.

Sweet Bonny from the Netherlands and her son Marlon run this wonderful shop on Wilshire. A homeless vagrant just set fire to their awning/roof last week, so if you're reading this ~ be sure to pay them a visit. I love their chocolates (call ahead to see if the shipment has arrived yet), their sandwiches on freshly baked baguette (caprese, turkey & provolone, ham & brie and spicy tuna), as well as the ultra-rich Belgian hot chocolate. Truly everything in this cafe has been either made or curated with love. Support your local small businesses who survived the past 3 years! Highly recommend.

Such a cute family-owned chocolatier shop!! Really friendly service. Every piece I've tried has been unique and amazing, and they package everything in adorable gift boxes. Highly recommend if you're looking into gifting chocolates to loved ones.

I love, love, loved this place until they stopped shipping their wonderful gold boxes of chocolate to me. Boo! You got me through COVID and cancer and I miss you. I cannot make the drive and I just wish I could have their delicious candies delivered again. Anyway thank you for the memories. Good candies.

**UPDATE I WAS TALKING TO MY FRIEND MERYL AND I SAID "BELGIUM? More like Belg-YUM" SO I HAD TO EDIT THIS TO INCLUDE BELG-YUM!!!**Ok Wow. I have been walking or driving past this shop so many times after it is already closed, and every single time, I think "I need to go in there!"Well folks, today I did just that and I can tell you I will absolutely be doing so again in the future.First of all this chocolate shop is so delightfully A CERTAIN KIND OF WAY. The displays and just everything about it is EUROPEAN which is sensible because the chocolates are flown in from BELGIUM. Insane how good at chocolate they are in that area of Europe where they have been working with dairy for many centuries. The lady who runs the shop, I am guessing she is THE Lady Chocolatt, is indeed a true Lady in every sense. She is a treasure and the candy is amazing plus she also has awesome coffees and even cocoa which is what I may try next.Pictured are the chocolate frogs I got a bag of today. They are not minty just pure sweet chocolate.Make your life nicer by stopping in to the Lady Chocolatt soon!

This barely noticeable hole in the wall is a hidden gem. Walk in off of Wilshire and you immediately face a choice: which Belgian chocolate shall you choose? The selection is not overwhelming, but it is certainly large enough to give you choices across a wide range. All of the chocolates are made in Belgium. The store is owned by, I believe, a mother and son. Independent of their relationship, those behind the counter were incredibly friendly and helpful when it came to describing the chocolates. I am often loath to ask for too many descriptions, but they were more than happy to talk about the intricacies of each selection. The chocolates themselves were very good, better than very good, dare I say, excellent? I am not a chocolate aficionado (full disclosure, I actually enjoy eating straight baking chocolate), but every so often one needs to add a little sugar to one's diet and these chocolates evince a nice delicate depth of tastes housed in soft ganache. The place itself is bright, clean, and cheery. I was surprised by the outdoor patio, which offers a nice covered dining area. They serve coffee, traditional hot, chocolate, and sandwiches- - which I have not yet tried, but will do so shortly and will report back. So, if you need chocolate as a gift, or, let's admit it, just have some yourself, this is a great place to judiciously choose those calories.

Great little shop with friendly customer service. I was offered a few complimentary samples. Ordered the rich hot chocolate for the kid which was steaming hot and we waited a while before drinking it. Also purchased a gift of an assortment of divine Belgian dark and milk chocolates. Definitely will come here again.Limited street parking.

A cute little gem on busy Wilshire Blvd. They have a nice little seating area outside right next door. The lady working there was extremely friendly. I decided to try a few chocolates and she added an extra piece forme to try for free. The chocolates are amazing! I plan to stop in again and try their hot chocolate and veggie cáprese sandwich next time I'm in the area

Is this seriously supposed to be the best hot chocolate in LA? It tastes like chocolate flavored water. Did they use whole milk to make it (like they are supposed to)? Was it skim milk? Was it toilet water? The chocolate is quality but the liquid they used to make it tastes like water. It went right into the garbage. On the bright side the chocolates they sell here are v good quality and most important. They are fresh.

I grew up in Europe eating good Belgian chocolate and this shop always reminds me of home! I would give them 6 stars if I could: not only is the quality of their products top-notch (best chocolate in LA and great espresso too!), but the shop owners Marlon and Bonnie are great human beings, I always appreciate spending time chatting with them when I stop by. Highly recommend!

Always the best food, desserts, and the friendliest of people work here. I come for a coffee and sandwich (they run their own owen for bread!), and get some work done while at it.

Bought this chocolate heel for my GF. It is pretty unique that it is shaped as a heel but it also has 12 of their best selling chocolates inside which made it cooler. It's pricey, but worth it and tasty. 10% off if you check in on Yelp!
