Rotisserie chicken was delicious, service and pricing was terrible - our table was never approached after our order was placed until they hurried us out door, and stood over us as we payed and literally stared at me when I was at the tip screen, felt very pressured to tip well for bad service. Food was good! Wayyy too pricey.

I had the honor of having my birthday dinner here and the place did not disappoint. Excellent dishes and wine - highly recommend trying to order one of everything on the menu. Sasha and Maha were gems. Thank you!!

As someone who takes great pride in the love of fine food, I have to say: This little restaurant is absolutely amazing. This is possibly the best meal I have had in years ( and that is really saying a lot). Each course was a beautiful dance. Each dish had their own very distinct personality, yet the transition between dishes was absolutely harmonious. The staff was fantastic to deal with, informative, personable, and truly enjoyed being there that moment, doing what they do. Get a table now, while they are still available. You won’t be sorry.

Loved our dinner at Lasita! Loved the chicken inasal, both rices, and the whole grilled branzino. We had calamansi juice with our meals that was super refreshing.

Special place with delicious food, music, mood, and staff. Chicken, noodles and rice dishes were fantastic. Can’t wait to come back.

I knew this place would be good but it was even better than expected! The salmon kinilaw was refreshing and a great way to start off the meal. The pancit kang kong, chicken fat rice, and pork belly sisig were packed with flavor. The chicken inasal was falling-off-the-bone tender and we were happy to bring the leftovers home.Even on a chilly February night, the patio was comfortable to dine in because of their heated lamps. I appreciate that so much of the menu is plant-based but sacrifices nothing in flavor. Can’t wait to return and try even more!

It strayed a bit too much from Filipino food for me, but it wasn't bad. Felt like some of the food relied a bit too much on vinegar... which isn't bad, but also isn't as balanced as could be. I figure the staff were trying to be engaging, but some of the conversation was also really awkward and forced. Not a bad place, but probably just not for me and my boyfriend.

This is a good "new" Filipino spot that deserves more business. Delicious food and friendly service. In warmer weather the outside seating is very pleasant. Don't forget to leave room for the pie!

I wandered in on a business trip one night and enjoyed the experience so much that I planned my team's holiday party with them. They went out of their way to accommodate dietary needs, and their offerings of a low-ABV bar and DJ enriched the experience for my colleagues, also making planning very easy for me. Absolutely lovely staff and ownership. I can't recommend Lasita enough for a solo visit, a date night, or an event.

amidst ambient orange light in a shopping center in chinatown is lasita. adorned with playful turquoise awnings that are giving disneyland toon town (in the BEST nostalgic way), there is a little patio with light teal tables and white metal mesh seats, a tiny amber tea light centered on each table. so playful and happy.i stumbled upon this at 3pm after endless inspiration at the neighboring cookbook store in the same plaza. i waited the requisite 2.5 hours until the 5:30pm evening open by exploring the neighboring shops and looped back around 5 and they were having a team meeting around an inside table before they opened! :,) it was adorable and sweet, i imagined they were discussing the menu or latest wine editions, so wholesome.so! here we are at 5:31, there is a line of about four small 2-4 person parties ahead of me waiting at the hostess stand. the hostess was super kind and i suddenly worried, "wait, shoot, i don't have a reservation?!"this was no matter- i was lucky because i had the power of being a party of one. the inside was so ambient and orange, playing a mix of electronic music that kind of blends into the light. seating inside is varied. the back is lined with tall, sleek, minimalist wood booths, a few smaller square floating tables, a big ol' group one, and a skinny bar space (WITH BAG HOOKS!) with some metal stools line the windows. okay, now onto the food, i promise.the amazing waitress, sophie, recommended a solo special (!!) with the chicken, garlic fried rice, some veggies, and a glass of the chenin blanc. it came out almost instantly?! the rice was like eating BUTTER, perfectly cooked. there was a bit of crunchiness on top. on the side were these carrots and other delicious autumnal colored veggies that were cold, spicy, tangy, heavenly with the warm rice & chicken. the chicken was great too, well flavored, great portion, and soft. served on a beautiful big pink ceramic blate (plowl?) with two dips. wish i had more time to stay for dessert, they looked divine!could not recommend this place enough. perfect spot for a solo dinner or glass of wine before catching the train. definitely recommend a reservation if you're dining with a group. a sweet location, caring staff, and beautiful aesthetically. thank you!

This little place is in a small strip mall but it's the life of the first floor. Wonderful lighting and music. The food was to die for! The lechon was juicy and so rich. Highly recommend for a night out if you're nearby.

Lasita is an intimate restaurant that serves Filipino food and has a great wine selection. I went for the first time for my birthday and had a wonderful experience. We got a bottle of orange wine called the Ta Ra Ra, it was perfect with our meal. You can really taste the notes of olive and a hint of jasmine. My order: Chicken Inasal - a Filipino bbq chicken. it was good, I feel like it could have been marinated longer. Pork Belly Lechon - this one was my favorite, the crispy skin and I love how it wasn't so fattyPancit Kang Kong - great noodle dish, very flavorful and I love how there were mushrooms in it The sauces that accompanied the chicken and pork belly were perfect and really enhanced the flavors. We got both garlic and chicken fat rice both matched perfectly with each dish. For dessert, we got the halo halo -- I think it was just ok, it was lacking a lot of flavor and ingredients. Lasita is not your traditional Filipino restaurant, but still a spot to try out if you love Filipino food.

The service was great! Extremely friendly and helpful in selecting dishes to try. It wasn't too loud either but definitely vibrant. We ordered a lot of food and surprisingly ate all of it. A couple call outs:- Sinigang Shrimp Chips (salty but I really enjoyed them)- Garlic Fried Rice- Pancit Kang Kong (water spinach, blue oyster mushrooms, yakisoba noodles, garlic-calamansi sauce, chili crunch)- Sizzlin' Shroom Sisig- Inasal Prawns- Long Beans- Chicken Inasal- Pork Belly Lechon (sooooo good!!)- Full Branzino- Pancit Bihon Salad

Lasita was very charming and surprisingly a hit. I came for a dinner with a buddy and luckily there was a reservation online that evening. The line is pretty long but you can grab a glass of their natural wines and wait for a table which makes it much easier to bear. We got seated after a drink (and a hefty refill) and after looking at the menu decided on the lechon, the chicken, pancit, beef tartare, and chicken fat rice.Pretty much order everything. The lechon is fatty, meaty, and crispy and the balance among the fat and meat is perfect. Doesn't feel like you are eating just fat, and the crispy skin adds that bit of crunch. The chicken was moist regardless of white or dark meat. The sauces are there but the chicken was already so flavorful you don't even really need it. The pancit noodles were springy and had a bite. The chicken fat rice reminded me of Hainan chicken rice and while good, I could've done without because the pancit was so much better. The only semi-letdown was the beef tartare. It didn't stack up to the other dishes and maybe it needed more lemon. If you get a chance, I totally recommend checking out Lasita.
