“This place is heaven sent. The owner is nice and friendly. Clothes are always ready on time . They even do alterations. I had some wide leg dress pants and she was able to hem them and make them straight leg. I would definitely recommend this cleaners.”

“If you need tailoring or clothing alterations in Palms / West LA, this is the place to go. VIP Cleaners did an excellent job hemming six pairs of pants for me right before a trip with everything done on time and perfectly.
Tang was professional and thoughtful, and even suggested tapering the pants so they’d look better based on the outfit I was wearing that day which I really appreciated. You can tell he genuinely cares about the fit and the final result.

“This has been my go to spot for laundry now since I’ve been recently staying in West LA. Lots of washing machines and dryers and tables to fold. I haven’t went and had to wait on a machine or table. Its open till late night. Prices are good. You do have to use a Card to pay to wash. It’s not the coin type of machines. The Staff are very friendly and helpful and keep the place super clean. Lots of big screen TVs and chairs to sit to watch. Vending machines with laundry supplies and also snack machines. Doris does an amazing job and has made me feel like I’m home washing clothes. Gracias Doris! ??”

“So…I walked in today about 2min before closing. I left my 85-year old father in the car b/c he was close enough for me to keep an eye on him.
When I entered the cleaners, there was a customer yelling at one of the older adults behind the counter (he may not have meant to come across as hostile, to be fair). It was pretty intimidating, and everyone seemed a bit uncomfortable as it continued for about 10min. I finally had to speak up since the cleaners was technically closed by then, and I think he was too upset to notice the impact to all parties present.
I am including this as a review because I want to commend the kind, calmness of the two older adults behind the counter at the time. I don’t know if they were specifically responsible for the problem.
What I can say is, the lady behind the counter Never Once raised her voice at the customer. Her tone remained calm and gentle. Even the customer was honest in acknowledging that she took the time to hear out his concern.
After things eased, rather than turning us away, the staff member took the orders of the remaining people waiting, given the unusual circumstances. It never affected her ability to keep trying her best for her customers.
So, I just want to say that, after multiple generations of my family using this cleaners, getting good service, troubleshooting concerns, etc., I am so grateful that the staff is consistently kind in how they approach us and they allow us to communicate what we need to say. I don’t know which staff members do which jobs but, I have experienced kindness from each person that helps us.
My dad and I both appreciate how many times they have helped us get last minute items cleaned for things like funerals and important events. He said he was trying to get out of the car to make sure everyone was safe because he heard the ordeal way out in the parking lot.
I know people are human and sometimes things don’t happen the way someone believes they should. I just glad that, no matter what, we can depend on the staff at Jewell to treat us like human beings, no matter the situation or concern.”

“This is my go to laundromat for the past 6 years, its honestly the cleanest and the most friendly environment in highland park. Ive gone to almost all the laundromats in my area & this is by far the best in all aspects. The hours are from 6am-10pm, last wash load is at 9:30pm. Its safe, free wifi, bathroom, vend machines (snack, drink, & soap), parking is easy, even to grab a bite next door. Honestly I think I come here because of the laundromat lady, who is a total sweet heart. Always greets me and ask about how I'm doing. For all those bad reviews on here, its obvious you are all just a bunch of racist jerks. The laundromat isn't a 24 hr service, so dont be coming to wash literally right at closing time.”

“Regular and large washing machines here made it convenient for our large and smaller loads. I took quarters today but found that I can use an app next time. Staff was helpful and courteous. For the dryers, there are 3 options for heat which is nice. Towels can use the highest heat for less time, meaning less coins needed. Overall good experience. Will be coming back.”

The owner is a literal angel. He greets you like you’re an old friend or family member. Every visit is met with genuine warmth, like he actually cares about your clothes AND your trip to Japan AND your nails. Lol
