Don't borrow it. The car smells rotten and the car is very dangerous. If you get into trouble while riding in a problematic car, you threaten the rider.

My girlfriend and I rented a car from this place earlier this month. If you want a long story short, they rented us an old car that was shaking and not accelerating when we were on the freeway. When we asked for a refund of the remaining days because we felt unsafe, they said no because of what the contract said. We said the contract was null to us because we could have gotten into a serious accident. When we asked for a copy of the contract we signed, we were sent a picture of a shredder and told that the contract was shredded. All legal documents are supposed to be kept for at least seven years. To start from the beginning, the car, a 2014 Nissan Rouge (way older model than we thought we were going to get), reeked of chlorine and already had over 112k miles on it. They were obviously trying to cover up what smelled to be reminisce of a dog. It was to the point that we had to roll down the windows every time we entered the car. We were literally gagging if we didn't open the windows. We were driving to a near by outlet mall which was about an hour out. As we were on the freeway, she noticed that the car was not accelerating and the car started shaking. On a freeway where people were going 100 mph, our car's speed was declining, and went all the way down to 45 on the freeway. People were honking at us! We had to take the nearest exit and pull over on the side of the road. When she called the owners to let them know what happened, they had zero sympathy. There was no concern for our safety. My girlfriend was blasting the owners for their unprofessionalism. Their only response was to blame us for the car malfunctioning because we mentioned we were driving over 65; scolding us that we should ONLY be driving the speed limit. No where in the contract does it dictate what speed we choose to drive. (Seriously, anything near 80 mph in LA is normal and we never exceeded that.) The reason I bring up the contract is because their defense on why we could not get a refund on our remaining UNUSED days was because of the contract. I googled the Nissan Rouge and saw that this model was known for overheating which affects the acceleration which caused the 2008 version of the car to be recalled. When we mentioned this to them, they told us to "take it up with Nissan." No accountability whatsoever was taken. We literally had to sit pulled over on the side of the road, scared shitless in a place neither of us have ever been before, and figure out how we were going to get back home. Nervously, we drove back home. We told the owners that we wanted to drop the car off. Their response was that all their locations were closed. This meant that we HAD to keep AND PAY for the car another 2 days because they weren't open until Monday. We were stuck with a stink, unusable car. When we went in to see them on Monday, it was a s*** show. My girlfriend blew up on them and simply asked them to give her a FULL refund for the remaining days she had booked the car. She was down to pay for the days it was used AND Saturday and Sunday, which we were forced to pay for because they wouldn't take the car on Friday. They refused, stating the contract which said that at any given point, only 50% refund of remaining days were to be giving back. Our main point being that the contract to us was null because the car malfunctioned on the freeway and that NOTHING should be more important than our safety. They straight up did not give a s**** They kept putting the contract in our face. Heated words were exchanged and cops were threatened to be called. We stepped outside to diffuse the situation and when we came back, the lady we were talking to had a different demeanor. She said that we could get the refund we requested. An important thing to note is that my girlfriend and the owner were speaking Korean so I couldn't understand. What it sounded like to me, she said that we were going to get a 50% refund for all the days that we had the car. I said this in English to confirm to which my girlfriend repeated

SCAM company!!! WARNING i will go to small claim court! EVERYBODY who got ripped off by this motherfuckers, please SEND ME Direct Message! More reports, more successful will be this case against them! I paid everything online 2 days in advance for my important day when i need my car to be ready! i paid online, paid for insurance so everything was ok. they just called me to inform me that my location will be different for pick up! it was still ok, near my house, which is why i use this company instead of the other ENERPRICE where i already rent car before and was very happy with their service and how fast they are, but Autobank Rent a Car keeps me to wait for 1 h, when i paid to pick up my car at 2.30 pm. i was waiting for more then 1 h. Then he showed me totally different car of what i requested for and paid for!!! I WAS IN SHOCK. He offered me some old ugly in bad condition car and told me that this is the only car they have! If your company business in rent out cars then you should have a better cars and more options. i saw more options and actually what i req. but he told me that for this if i dont like i need to pay extra! WHAT A B**************************** I straight away understood that they simply want to get more of my money. i told him that this is not what i paid for. then he told me i need to pay more for insurance which is was not MANDATORY on their website by the check out payment page! they was pushing on me to pay extra for car and extra for insurance! Or if i dont want they will not refund my money! and i can simply get out! THEY WAS RUDE. There was no more then 150 miles per day. which is mean u can drive only 3 h per day. or u need to pay extra for each mile! insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They making you pay twice for insurance and then forcing you to sign paper for $1000.00 if there will be any damage. Of course i didnt sign it cos i already knew they will find any way for what they can keep this money. this kind of people will just f*** you up thats it! I was crying that they ruined my day and my important trip! ONCE AGAIN ALL PEOPLE who got ripped off from those scammers please DM as i'm signing report in small claim court! i will do my best to close their business. it will take me along but i dont care. its principal! You can't make this black business in America and treat people this way!

These guys rented to us.. they gave us car with a cracked windshield and won't pick up when I'm trying to call them for help because it broke down. Please - do not rent from these people! They hung up on me when I called and told them that my rental car is broken down... and now all I can do is pay for a tow truck out of pocket because they won't even answer my calls. F minus. Rent from a reputable company, don't make the mistake I did!

Walk away... don't go here. Just use hertz. It's more cheaper and safer. If you make any damage big or small, they will try to rip you off. I had 1000 dollar deductible insurance on the contract. I made a small scratch during revers parking. they hold the car for inspection over 10 days. They charge me for 10days of loss of damage + few parts around the scratch spot. So they ended up charge $986 for the small a** scratch... They just wanted to take whole 1000 dollar deductible fee from me. It look so obvious. I heard these small car rental shops team up with insurance company or bodyshop to rip you off. I won't ever deal with Koreans ever again even though I am Korean. The guy working at this spot yelled at the elderly couple who tried to stand up for me. So rude. That guy was pretty scary.

It's great service and easy to rent for me i was reserved compact vehicle but favor to me that free upgrade bigger vehicle. so i was really good comfort for driving trip thanks guys im going to you guys again when i visit in LA
