I like little Caesars. However, their service is bad. Really rude customer service during the night shift. I just don't understand why people get to work at places where they don't like it. They should put effort into studying a career that they would be able to stand since they seem to be working in such bad mood

I normally don't eat low quality food, but on this day it was Veterans day 11 November 2023 and Little Cesar's gives Military Veterans a free lunch deep dish combo. So as a military veteran, I went to get one. Meh, why not. So I walk in and the young female that comes to help me was not nice at all. I smiled and said, "I'm here for the Veterans meal." She asked for my military ID which I showed. There was one already made pizza. However, the box looked a bit off. It was a little open. She put it on the counter and rang up the free meal. As she was doing that, I inspected the box and pizza. Upon opening the box, there was grease all over the box and the pizza was a mess. Looked like it took a fall. I told her that the pizza had looked like it fell and of course she said it didn't. I repeated. However, without wanting conflict I kinda just stood there waiting to see how she would handle this situation. In that awkward moment of silence, she said she'd make a new one and walked away. Ok my red flag went up because I didn't know if she would do something to my new pizza.... one never knows these days....so I watched from both sides of behind the shelves in the spaces to watch her put it in the oven as it was already pre-prepared and I was waiting and watching as she took it out. At this time, the store manager had just walked in right before the pizza came out. He smiled and said hello. I continued watching as the young girl took my deep dish lunch pizza out if the oven. WHAT SHE DID NEXT WAS APAULING!! So, the previous pizza that was a mess... I watched as she threw it in the trash but kept the box apparently. Her plan was to recycle. I then watched her take my fresh pizza out of the oven, cut it, then pick up the greasy old box from the original pizza and put my new pizza in it. My mouth dropped open and I calmly and immediately spoke with the manager as he was standing close by. When I quickly explained what had happened, his face lit up in confusion as if he couldn't believe that she did that. He immediately went to her, they exchanged a few words in Spanish and she transferred to pizza to a brand new box and brought it out to me with a smile.I do understand this is a $5 pizza and they are not high quality ingredients and this restaurant is not in the best of areas so the service may not be the best because of it but come on....I feel like people should still have some type of integrity. And although the pizza was free, I am not going to just take what I am given.Thank you to the manager for immediately fixing the situation but please re-train your staff because that was nasty that she did that!P.s. If you want an inexpensive pizza, try the Little Cesar's on Santa Monica Blvd and N. Van Ness. Better tasting pizza and better friendlier customer service. I went to this location as well on Veterans day for the free veterans meal and had a much better experience.

Worst little caesar's pizza I've ever had. I'm not expecting much for a cheap pizza anyways but my pretzel crust pizza was covered in large granual salt, every bite. My breadsticks were fluffy on one side and the other end, burned and flat. I don't even know how that's possible. I'll drive 1 extra mile to avoid this location.

Never pick up the phone. Been calling for at least 15 min and they don’t pick up. This is not the first time, it’s happened many times before. The whole point of ordering a pizza through the phone is so it can be ready by the time I get there and I don’t have to wait but it’s the same thing as going in person to order and wait for it to be done. Customer service is so bad when it comes to ordering on the phone.
