I haven’t been to their dinner/wine bar hours yet, but they have been my consistent “Friday Treat” spot for a couple of years. The lox on toast is my favorite but I also love their baguette sandwiches. The staff have always been friendly. Also, there’s always at least one good dog in the patio. It’s a little pricey- but that’s why it’s more of a treat spot for me.I DO wish they’d put prices on their wine bottles, I wanted to get one but I didn’t want to embarrass myself by walking it back if was out of my range.

Been coming here for awhile and it’s one of my favorite places in LA and top coffee shops.Food and pastries are amazing. Service is wonderful. Cute corner spot and good seating. Parking is decent to find.Sandwiches are killers. Drink prices reasonable and great variety of cool wines. An absolute gem.

I loved Little Dipper. I have gone here every time I am in L.A. for years. They significantly remodeled, and I was really disappointed yesterday. The croissant dough pastries were all soggy, and a soggy onion croissant is just not good. One of us has allergies, and they could not tell you what was in each baked item. This is just not good enough anymore. You cannot order a pastry if they can't tell you whether or not it has pistachios for example. I understand that they do not make them, but that does not relieve them of the responsibility to know what they are serving. They are no longer making their yummy juices, like watermelon! Those made the place special. They added a number of hot cooked dishes, but again, if they cannot tell you if they have specific ingredients you can't eat, it is hard to order. Did the owners change? What is going on?

We had to wait 50 minutes to get our toasts, and it wasn’t even busy.

The re-do at Little Ripper is superb. The fit out, the vibe, the decor - it's fabulous and comfortable. We were celebrating a birthday with friends so ordered a lot of what was on the menu and every single thing was delicious - and that sentiment was agreed by everyone in our party. The servers are so friendly and helpful and everything was just at the right pace. We had a fabulous night, our friends are for sure returning as are we!

We very much enjoyed our family celebration at Little Ripper. We shared many items on the menu and we enjoyed all of them. We chose to sit outside, and the traffic was a bit noisy, but the patio area was otherwise comfortable.

I was so happy to stumble across this Aussie-style cafe on our side of LA. The kids raised Down Under could have their Vegemite toast and real Fairy Bread on white bread for brekkie, while the adults could enjoy a smashed avo on sourdough, a breakfast sandwich, and bacon and eggs. Something for everyone. Be warned that Americans used to super sized portions might want to add extra bacons and eggs, and Aussies who love their Vegemite might want to ask for a generous helping of the black stuff.Vegetarian options: I would recommend this to my Aussie vegetarian brother when he next is in LA.Parking: I didn’t have trouble finding an on street park right outside the cafe. I was able to drop off an older family member right in front using the pickup parking slot.Kid-friendliness: Fairy Bread for brekkie? How more kid friendly does it get?Wheelchair accessibility: There only one step to get into the cafe. You could also eat outside on a street bench on the sidewalk. I’m not sure if there was wheelchair access to the outdoor eating area. There was a full ADA compliant bathroom.

Little Ripper is a neighborhood gem with a chic yet cozy ambience that sets the stage for an amazing dining experience. The fusion of Aussie and California cuisine creates a very fun and inspired menu that will leave you wanting to try everything on it. From the moment you step in, you will feel transported to a chic bistro somewhere far away from the L.A. bustle. Little Ripper is the perfect place for a casual brunch or a special night out. Truly a must-try new spot, come for the food, stay for the wine and don't forget to order the Baby Bear Porridge. Trust me.

Great cafe. The fitout is gorgeous and the team are super friendly. It’s come along way from the little hole in the wall that it started out as. It’s polished and sophisticated with a great menu. Coffee is also killer.

First of all, the minute we walked in our server Nikki gave us amazing attention. She suggested a variety of great wines (we got 2 bottles of the white she suggested!) and walked us through our food options. The food was delicious- particularly the dip trio and the lamb meatballs. Vibe is so cute and cozy!

If I were to open a cafe I’d want it to be like this. Simple, friendly, and high quality products. I cannot emphasize enough how nice (and seemingly rare) it is to find places with good espresso AND good food. Great place to do work out of too. Also shoutout to the Vegemite toast ?? I personally hate vegemite but I have mad respect that it’s on the menu in the states. Try it for yourself tho I’m sure it’s bomb!
