I purchased an Integra CDC-3.4 six-disc CD changer at Magnolia well over a year ago and am definitely pleased with my purchase. The sales associate (Andrew Castro) was very helpful and very courteous and he answered all my questions and was very helpful. My highest recommendation.

If you live in Los Angeles and are looking for a new audio/video system, go straight to Magnolia West Hollywood and ask for Phil Fuentes. My 92 year-old father's 12-year-old television conked out on us. We began an odyssey in quest of the perfect TV with the perfect sound for a man whose cataracts are ripening and whose hearing has "gone south," as he says. We started with a Sony 65-inch X900F. He didn't like the picture. We upgraded him to the Sony 65-inch OLED. He wasn't impressed. We tried the Samsung QLED 8, both the 65-inch and the 55-inch. He loved the 55-inch. We tried a Sonos soundbar with two surround speakers. We couldn't fine tune the sound; he thought it was "tinny." We returned the Sonos and, on the recommendation of our Magnolia salesman, we switched to a new audio system with a Denon receiver (AVRX1500H, two MOTION 41 Bookshelf Speakers), and MOTION 81 Center Speaker), all for about the same cost as the Sonos package. Oh, and we wanted to retain his ability to listen on an analog Sennheiser wireless headset so that he and my mother could stay married after 63 years. That's a lot of swapping in and out of equipment. It would have been a nightmare had I tried to do it alone. But I was not alone. I had the GOD OF AUDIO/VIDEO INSTALLATION taking over for me. His name is Phil Fuentes, and you SHOULD BUY ALL OF YOUR AUDIO/VIDEO EQUIPMENT FROM PHIL. I have never had such patient, persistent, kind service. At one point I apologized for all the back & forth we were doing. Phil said, "Are you kidding? I install $20,000 systems for people, but I care just as much about getting it right for a man in his 90s. Maybe even more." Everything came together beautifully...except Dad's old Sennheisers. We couldn't get them to work without interference on the line. Phil took the set to the store, got it to work there with the digital-to-analog converter box, but still couldn't get them working at home. I was ready to give up, when he found a "zone 2" out on the back of the Denon, for analog only. Problem solved. All this in time for the Super Bowl. On his way out this evening, Phil said, "If you have any trouble with the system tomorrow, call me and I'll come right up so you won't miss the game." I'm sending a copy of this Yelp Review to Phil's personnel file at BestBuy. He is a rare find. With gratitude, Steven Frank

Just the worst bunch of worthless idiots around. I have a home theatre that I wanted to upgrade. I went in and talked to a manager and gave him specs etc. he said a project manager would call me within 48 hours. 7 days later, no word, so I called. I explained what happened. They said someone would call me in 48 hours. A week later, no call. So I went to the store and talked to a manager. He personally said he would come out. He did, 4 days late. When he got to the house he was pretty clueless. He didn't realize that the "molding" hiding the wires was just the plastic cable holders that's sold at Best Buy. He kept saying "we can't go into your walls". I said "dude. It's not going into the wall. You just remove the plastic and stick a new one on". Anyway. He was a nice enough guy. He said he would have a quote for me three days later. Guess what... yep. A week went by and he finally called me. He said he needed to bring a project manager out to the house again and go over everything AGAIN. At this point I was fed up. I told him no thanks. I'm not wasting any more time with these absolute bozos. Go to a real professional for your home theatre needs. This place sucks hard.

These guys are amazing and Nick in particular has gone above and beyond for us. We installed a Control4 Home Automation System and the technicians have been fantastic. I highly recommend Magnolia in West Hollywood for anyone considering Home Automation, Home Theater and Home Entertainment!
