I moved to East LA a few months ago and I've tried the nearby coffee shops in the area. First I'm a little disappointed with the lack of good coffee. I thought raza loved good coffee. But this place is a hidden gem. Looks like they opened recently. The owner KNOWS coffee and in their attempt to stand out with some unique items, they've created some amazing drinks. I love coffee but if you're not a coffee person their matcha is amazing and the cold brew Jamaica is basically caffeinated agua fresca. Customer service is top notch. I can't recommend this place enough. It's got a nice cozy hole in the wall feel. A few other good coffee shops nearby but they all feel too commercial. This cafe feels more homie.

Lovely cafe offering a variety of traditional coffee and tea beverages, as well as some new and creative options. I listened to their suggestion and had the staff favorite: a guava matcha iced latte, which was incredible. It was like a guava milkshake, and once stirred together, a whole other thing! Very clean, well lit, and good for hanging out for an hour with a friend or between meetings. Staff were very friendly.

Tried the Hibiscus Cold Brew and let me tell you it was amazing! Never heard of this flavor combo before and decided to try it only to really enjoy it. Not as bitter as one would think cause of the cold brew but it’s tart and also sweet from the Hibiscus itself and you can also taste the coffee. Recommend trying this place and this drink!

The other reviews aren't wrong. This place is great! I found parking right in front, the barista was knowledgeable and very friendly, you can't beat the affordable prices, and the coffee was quite honestly some of the best tasting coffee I've had in a long time. Very highly recommend this place! I got an iced mocha (delicious) and my husband got a vanilla Mocha (delicious). Highly recommend.

Saw this place while I was working and I wanted to check it out. I was able to order a coffee and a muffin before heading back to lunch. Coffee is was 7/10 and the muffin 8/10. I have nothing bad to say about the place but I did expect more options as far the eating menu. Don't see myself coming back again (no disrespect)

New coffee shop in town and I'm living for it!The coffee is so tasty and they have some very creative beverages including a Mazapán Latte and a Agua Fresca with coffee (I know, it sounds odd, but it gives it a really nice smoky taste). The staff is very friendly and the location is kept very clean, A+!!! The shop is owned by a Latino couple and their logo is inspired by a Mayan deity, it is super cute! The restrooms are gender neutral as well and are wheelchair accessible as well as the entrance to the shop.Their menu (see photo) offers a range of products and milk alternatives! Not sure which brand they used for their oatmilk but it was very tasty. I ordered their Mazapán Latte with oatmilk and it was very tasty, not super sweet (I don't like very sweet coffee beverages, this coffee shop is definitely intentional with their sugar levels). There is no outdoor seating and seating inside is very limited, this is more of a get it and go type of shop. I don't believe they had Wi-Fi available, but as I mentioned, seating is very limited anyhow. All forms of payment are accepted.I would recommend either catching an Uber/Lyft, public transit or walking to the location as parking on Cesar Chavez is a hassle. Metered parking is available, but you can also try the residential parking. They do not sell food as of now, but they do have some baked goods such as muffins and bagels. I don't believe they prepare the baked goods there. I can't rate their baked goods as I did not try any of them (maybe next time).Overall, I would highly recommend checking this lovelyVegetarian options: Milk alternatives available.Dietary restrictions: Milk alternatives available.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance and restroom are wheelchair accessible.
