Buddha's meat department is on point and if you need anything sliced/cut into small pieces they are very accommodating. This is my go to store for one, two or three items when I want to avoid the big grocery stores. I just love our neighborhood market

This market is where I get all my Cajun/Creole fixings. I love the butcher counter where I can get different varieties of meats cut and ready for preparing. They are also a great place to get liquor and general grocery items. The staff is always nice and helpful. They are a beacon of the community.

For your soul food needs come here! They have neckbones, turkey wings, chitterlings and much more. The store itself is pretty small inside but the meat counter is top tier and worth the drive.

HEADS UP: The RED/ORANGE haired Hispanic WOMAN CASHIER will start unwarranted, unprofessional problems between customers!! I brought my business here several days ago and spent quite abit of money which I now regret. Everything was normal as any store trip would go UNTIL I left Budda Market and arrived to my second location (Mama's Chicken on Slauson) As I am exiting my vehicle, a woman and her mother jump out of their car and confront me regarding a VAPE which they apparently "left & was stolen" from Buddha market. These women proceed to confrontationally harass me stating the WOMAN CASHIER AT BUDDA MARKET told them a women wearing a black sweater took it. ?? Excuse me? Not only I was followed and confronted, I was put in a hostile, compromising dangerous position!!! This lack of common sense, unprofessional co-owner put blame on someone who was innocent (I don't steal nor smoke) & created unnecessary issues assuming the person (myself) would never know. Immediately after the incident, I phoned Budda market & spoke with this POS woman stating all said in this review. Apprehensively she responded with, "Oh,.... Oooh, Yea.. Oh yes" Realizing then the magnitude of her careless blame with a shaky voice, switches her story claiming she didn't know anything. I hope this is something she learns from because the magnitude of accusations these days land much differently. Imagine if my children were with present. Very ignorant move coming from what is supposed to be a community Market. INEXCUSABLE! I WILL NO LONGER SUPPORT AS I WILL NOT RETURN!!

Here again to buy the famous and delicious Pete's sausages and also the outstanding Patton's sausages. Located near the iconic Nipsey Hussle square just west of Crenshaw and Slauson. There is plenty of parking which is always a plus.I also picked up some Jamaican hot sauce and some other goodies. Love love that I can always be in and out.Thank you Buddha market till next time!

If you're looking for some authentic Louisiana food products, this is the spot!! You can find Cajun and:or andouille sausage behind the meat counter that is reasonably priced. You'll also find Camilla beans and Savoie's dressing mix in the freezer section. There are plenty of good spices and seasonings.

A few friends live by this market and it always caught my eye. Stopped in one day and saw a wide variety of items I have seen down south. I always get my ribs and pork chops and ground beef here. I bbq a lot in the summer. Great place and very nice staff. It has changed ownership sometimes but always remained the same positive feeling. I like to support local business. Love this place every time I'm off Slauson I stop by.
