They have so much cute mystery items ! They had the birthday mystery tins and I was so excited. I recommend trying to trade someone if they are buying the sameItem as you. The workers were friendly. One cash only register and one credit card only register.

Employees seemed nice except this one employee at the cash register. As soon as I told her I was going to pay with cash she made a sour face and as she was calculating my change I happened to see sonny angeles on the counter next to her. So I kindly asked her if they were for sale and how much they were selling them for. She then responded snarkly by saying “ hold up sir let me calculate your change first so then I can tell you how much they’re for” with attitude. She then walked away without saying anything and never told me the price for them. Incredibly rude. She was probably mad cause it was lunch time and she wanted to chow down her lunch already.

Neko Stop in little tokyo is one of my favorite stores to shop at. I’m absolutely obsessed with their Pokemon merchandise, and they actually have variety with the things they sell (from clothing to figurines.) The only thing that would bring my rating down is the fact that the store can be a bit hot, especially during the summer. I even noticed the stores thermometer was at 85 degrees. I’m pretty sure thats an OSHA violation too, making employees work in that heat.

Very authentic and cute looking shop. There is a plethora of different machines with different characters to try and win. There is also an awesome shelf full of different displays and backgrounds to put the characters you won on and take pictures of them in. It’s a fun experience to walk around the very small space and look at all the little Gatcha machines. The employees are friendly and willing to explain how things work. This was my first time in a place like this, and I came here with friends. I tried my luck at two machines and to the dismay of my friends and my disbelief, I LUCKILY got the two exact characters that I wanted!

I want to start with, this store is AMAZING! I was in LA for pride weekend. My partner and I took a trip during the day to little Tokyo. I used to collect pop art vinyl toys when I was in my early 20's. Specifically blind box toys. I loved the thrill of getting something and not knowing what it would be. But having a small piece of art to place in my space. When I walked by neko stop. The line was about a 10-15 minute wait. I went inside with no expectations I just wanted to look. I was awe struck by how cute everything was! I wanted EVERYTHING! I ended up getting a sleeping elves sea box, a dimoo aquarium box and a pucky what are the fairies doing box. I also got my dog something and some family gifts. I had so much fun deciding which collections to choose from. This was definitely my favorite stop in little Tokyo. The staff was also so kind. They seemed to be having as much as I was trying to decide. My partner even surprised me with an extra sleeping elves sea box because I wanted them all! I called this store after leaving LA and asked who owned the shop and the history. I spoke to Maggie who was very kind and let me know that the owner is kind and it was a family owned business. Even though I could get the full set of sleeping elves sea on amazon and have it in a day. I decided to buy from their online store to support them and wait the few extra days and pay the shipping. Adorable family owned shops like this with friendly staff. They deserve to exist. I think the kindness and happiness of the staff also reflects the owner as well. I would not have purchased these blind boxes had I not found this adorable store that made me feel the joy of a child all over again.

Lots or variety selections that are fair in price and good in quality! The staff is to be applauded because they're always so welcoming and helpful!I've come here a handful of times and always walk out with authentic items.Recently, Ronny helped me with a mystery box that had a broken figure. He replaced it with the same exact one & even shipped it to me!I will be coming back whenever I pass by LA.

this was my 1st visit ever to an anime shop.rather like an anthropological outing.was blown away by the sheer numbers of characters: purchasable in miniature form, plush form, keychain etc.there was even a humidifier! see photo.the staff were nice & helpful & didn't mind if one took photos. [unlike thestore further down the mall who were militant against any photos.]they also seemed to know a lot about the merch.twas like visiting a foreign country, both stimulating & fascinating! it was teeming with customers as well as a general happy buzz.

Once again, absolutely love this shop and actually much prefer this location! My bf and I had no idea about this one so I wonder how long ago they opened. We first went to the one in the Santa Anita mall and have since been driving out to that one. We just so happen to be walking through the village and it caught my eye since the line was out the door!We were looking for food when this caught our eye but the line was so long, we passed for now. We ended up turning around because we found a food spot on Yelp that we wanted to try and had to pass by this store again with no line in sight so we decided to hop in line. It was just us two and they were at capacity so the young lady working told us to wait a bit till two more leave. Didn't wait very long so she explained the 20 min max shopping time and to not squeeze any of their blind boxes. We walked in and surprisingly ended up only buying 2 Pokémon finger puppets. Usually we buy a bunch of Pokémon re-ment but didn't see anything new so we ended up passing for now. But definitely love the open space of this one, much bigger location and the decor and lighting was very nice. They don't do the buy 2, get 1 gacha coin for their machine at this location tho! I wonder if it's just a location thing. Definitely nice to know this one exists tho and can't wait to come back! IG: @ammysalamii

This is a great place to find blind boxes, but the workers' attitudes are questionable. We visited this store today. My mom had picked up a display they had for one of the blind boxes to get a closer look (the display was one of the possible choices in the blind box and the figure was secured in a plastic box). There was coincidentally a worker next to us and she immediately told my mom rather harshly to put the display down and that customers are not supposed to touch the displays. We had no idea because no sign was up telling customers to not touch the display, and since my mom and I have issues with our vision, we just wanted to get a closer look at the figure. I asked the worker where the sign was, and she pointed at a tiny sticker on the side of the display. I could not even read what the sticker said. A sticker is not a sign. Also, the only way you can see or read the sticker was to pick up the display itself. I walked around the store more and checked out other displays. No other displays had a "sign" that said do not touch. If the figures are that fragile, then the store needs to have a visible and easy-to-see/read sign asking customers to refrain from touching them. The store and workers cannot assume customers can read the tiniest thing just because they put it on the display. This is saddening for people who need a bit more accessibility and understanding when shopping. If the workers are going to tell a customer off for touching a display, then just make a visible sign.

Wide variety of goods but I'm mainly here for blind boxes! It's hard not to buy a whole box set when they're nicely displayed out where u can see em. Good place to stop by if ur in little toyko

Really cute shop located in little tokyo. I found the cutest snorlax figurine. Their figurine selections are actually authentic compared to other figurine stores nearby. And there was a huge selection of kawaii earrings.

Great little gift shop in Little Tokyo! They got everything from Sanrio keychains, one piece collectibles, Pokémon figures, lunar new year tigers, and much more! We bought a couple of things and came back later to buy more stuff! The keychains are 2 for $20 which seems reasonable. There are many other stores in the area that sell similar/identical items like neko stop but I think Neko Stop is definitely the best when it come to organization. The store is a bit small so just be aware of that when walking around. Nice store to get gifts from little Tokyo.
