Sushi 9/10 Onigiri 8/10 I love this cute market. It's perfect if you're craving some onigiri or a small sushi plate. Whenever I'm in little Tokyo I don't hesitate to stop by & pick up some snacks & munchies for later. I feel that the fresh food made here is high quality & better than some restaurants.

Mochi is my very favorite food, and mitarashi dango is my favorite variant. I have tried many different mitarashi dango all over the US, but the ones sold at this particular store are still my favorite. If the person who made them is reading this, thank you for making me so happy!! 3939!!!

If you look for an affordable fresh Japanese food, sushi, snack, this is the place to go to. Comparing to all the overpriced restaurants around the plaza, this place has the best deal ever. Look at this much amount of uni for $11 while a restaurant charges you $28/ 2 tiny uni nigiri. The salmon poke has more salmon than rice. It’s a perfect place to get high quality food for your date, you both get full and satisfied for your Japanese food craving, enjoy a nice vibe of Japanese village market, and don’t go broke.

The uni and salmon bowl were so fresh and cheap! You get much more salmon than poke bowls and only half the price. It's more fresh than most of the poke I've had. The uni was also fresh and cheap. The rice balls are average. The market itself was well keep and clean.

Clean, organized, and well-maintained. No public restroom. Friendly staff. Relatively quick in and out if you know what you want.

I cannot speak highly enough about this grocery store. The range of fresh, locally sourced ingredients available is simply exceptional. Whether you're looking for organic produce or specialty ingredients, this store has it all. The aisles are well-stocked and neatly organized, making it a breeze to find everything I need. The prices are competitive, and the staff is always willing to assist and provide recommendations. This grocery store has become an integral part of my weekly routine.

I love this market in Little Tokyo. Have been going there for over 20 years to find all kinds of Japanese grocery items. Everything is fresh, and the offerings are unique and highly curated. You can't go wrong with this experience .

Racist and sexist behavior of Management. Denied purchase of alcohol due to 1 woman in my group not having an ID while 4 of us was of legal age and had ID's with them. I saw a man buying alcohol alone and was not even asked for an ID. They need to fix management. I do not recommend this store.

Great little market with grocery items from Japan and restaurant quality sushi. I stopped in for a few items and picked up a pre-made sushi box. (I usually don't like supermarket sushi but I wanted to give it a try.) It was affordable, the fish was fresh and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Best market sushi I've ever had! (I also think the Coke Plus rivals Diet Coke.)

Good quality food and drinks. I always get the fresh sushi and eat it outside the market. Lovely place to hang out for lunch

The store is small, but it's selling Japanese items if you're looking for Japanese stores/groceries/items.They sell fresh/hot to-go foods and offer some discounts depending on the time of the day. You can find sushi, deli, snacks, drinks, beverages, sake, udon fresh/packaged, tea, Japanese foods, etc. Also, they deliver, or you can order through services like Doordash. They have security for your safety concerns.

Terrible, rude service! There are hundreds of foreigners walking in this district! And when for US citizens it*s enough to show driving licence, foreigners must (!!!!!) show only passport! We had EU and Australian licences in our company! We were told No! Go away!Never again we will come back here!

Rude cashier and the whole market stinks and is messy. Go somewhere else they don't appreciate you.
