“I was at a large orange hardware store and wanting to purchase sod, though they had a small 12x12 square for 13 bucks!! I called Avalon Nursery, they can pre-order sod, but they have to have a few pre-orders, which is fine. Sod is expensive and doesn't have a lengthy shelf life. Anyhow, She had another customer who was wanting it, she will have it this weekend. This is a family owned and ran business. So why not make my purchase from a family owned business. I will also be picking up a few trees and citronella bushes. If they don't have it, ask, they might be able to get it. Thank you Avalon Nursery.”

Plus, many nursery plants are already unhealthy. Not so at Xotx-Trópico. The selection is great and Leon has helped me buy numerous plants based on our needs and given instructions on light and watering. As a result, we have a home full of beautiful and happy plants. We found a great variety of plants that still are alive today which is always a win. They also have cute planters but def need to follow them on IG when they get the best ones. “This was my first time coming to this Home Depot location. My mom sent me to run some errands for her and get some gas tanks to light the heaters we have in outside. My plan was to be in and out and that is exactly what happened thanks to Deniz. That woman needs a promotion because she is such a kind sole as well as helpful. She helped me trade out the old gas tanks and find the exact new ones. Thanks to Deniz for such great customer service and exact guidance to the product. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!”

“I always drive by this place and see a ton of really cool huge planters but never actually made it in, up until recently. I was in need of repotting my birds of paradise and needed a big planter so I walked in I was greeted by the gentleman that works there I believe he was the owner. Immediately greeted me asked if I needed help but I was kind of just poking around and wanted to explore so I looked around at first. Then when I wanted pricing he was super helpful I ended up buying three pots he explained to me that one pot that I had was actually created by hand and the little indents were actually made by thumbprints. I loved that he explained that, since I did like that pattern I thought it was a cool story once I got my pots I went inside his little office with a bunch of pots inside to pay with my card and to my surprise I saw on the corner of his desk a mini monstera! Love an unexpected surprise the rhaphidophora tetrasperma I had been looking for for literally the past 2 months from all the nurseries close to West Hollywood even a trip to the Flower District in Downtown LA I could not find this plant everyone kept telling me to come back around May because they would have some then that they hadn't seen them in years blah blah blah so I asked the gentleman if he had more of these and of course he walked me over to the greenhouse and I found a beautiful baby to take home FINALLY! So so happy with the selection and the pricing is absolutely phenomenal if you're looking for something that has a little bit of character I highly recommend going here for Planters the selection of plants was incredible 10/10”
