I like this Orange Theory location probably the most out of all the ones I've been to in LA, but it still has quirks of its own. It's an oddly shaped studio and there are lots of spots where you can't see the screen or the coach demoing. There are a lot of classes, but it's still always crowded. Not their fault as this is a great location. There's parking in the back but it is sketchy and there is always an angry man attendant out there scowling at you. They're VERY strict with the 5 minute policy, but so are both of the downtown locations so that's par for the course.I also just don't understand why they will not let you go in the studio and stretch before class.. seems like a no brainer that will keep everybody busy and happy. The coaches and the music here are some of the better ones, but they're not very consistent

For the life of me I cannot understand how this could warrant a $10 extra fee for being a premier studio. Shoebox sized, cramped, and the session was mediocre at best. I'm baffled, but I gave an extra star because the front desk guy was super nice.

I've been frequenting this location for about 9 months & it is truly such a great workout. I never thought I'd be a HIIT workout girlie but Orange Theory makes it extremely accessible & I never feel a sense of competition with anyone else I workout with. I highly recommend it to any of my friends who want a great start to their morning.Shoutout to Kaitlin, Natalee, and Taylor for being amazing coaches!!

I’ve been a member of Orangetheory for over 5 years, and it’s the only workout I’ve ever stuck with and genuinely enjoyed. I love going to this one on Melrose! It’s a roomy interior with new equipment and incredible coaches. Everyone is SUPER friendly here (not always guaranteed being around Hollywood lol). Special shout-out to Coaches Kaitlin, Eric, Jasmine, and Brian for their classes, charisma, and playlists!

I am an avid orangetheory goer. I moved to weho about 2 years ago and found melrose to be my closest studio. I am the type of person that loves to try out different trainers to find my favorites and they have changed a few times here, but I keep finding more great ones. Right now I love jasmine, Kaitlin, Bre, and Eric. The girls all bring the energy and love to dance along with the music which is the vibe i love. Eric has been a long time favorite for his chill energy and knowledge. I've been a member for 6+ years and of course I could have a couple small complaints (mainly the cost to pause a membership) but one thing you will always get is an amazing workout and that's why i love it.

I love this Orange Theory. I love all the coaches there. But I'm a little disappointed with them right now, hence the 4 stars. They have a 5-minute late window after class starts to be let into class. I arrived at the 5-minute mark and they sent me away. Which is a terrible feeling. It ruined my morning. And left me feeling awful and discouraged. I know it seems small but I feel that guy at the front desk should have let me in class. It wouldn't have hurt him and wouldn't have broken their policy. I'm pretty upset about this. But whatever, that's life I guess. I also wish the front desk people at this location were friendlier too. Some are, but some aren't. It just depends on who you get. But they should all be nice and friendly IMO. That's good customer service. To make people feel welcome is important. Ok, rant over. That's my review of OTF Melrose.

Outside looks like it is closed and they won't let you do a first class if you don't show up a true 30 minutes early- I was 10 minutes late to being 30 minutes early and they wouldn't let me join the class even though it is very similar to other workouts

I was in LA for two weeks and I decided to visit the studio. I was extremely disappointed. To start off they charge a $10 fee as it is considered a luxury studio. I was completely fine with the fee however i could not be more disappointed with the service. The work out seemed very lazy. The couch was wearing crocs and was on her phone texting the entire time. The music was dull and they played the song all the way to the end. At the studio I attend (Miami) the coaches use remixes to keep you motivated throughout your workout. I will point out that the front desk staff and the coach were very friendly. However, i would not recommend this location.

I just moved back to West Hollywood and am planning on making this studio my home studio soon. But to be honest my experience at this studio hasn't been satisfactory. Each coach I've taken a class with at this studio has rushed through demonstrations (my coach this morning skipped half of the floor demos and my boyfriend who came with me didn't know how to do one of them, and our friend was doing it incorrectly) and is disengaged with their clients; no feedback on floor and doesn't make any eye contact. Maybe I was spoiled with OTF DTLA, but overall haven't been loving the apathy from OTF Melrose coaches. My name is Zach Volin if anybody reviewing this at this studio wants to talk about it in person.

I visited this studio from out of state and was throughly disappointed with the front desk girl and coaches. I attend OTF 7 days a week in my home state and know what to expect. The front desk young lady was disrespectful, rude and not welcoming. The studio manager was also disrespectful and dismissive. The two classes I attended both coaches kept changing the music and so it was very choppy and extremely hard to get into the work out. The equipment is VERY used and in poor working condition. I was charged an extra $10 each class for visiting a new studio (even tho I pay for unlimited classes) because this studio is supposedly a tier 3 (whatever that means) . Anywho, I would NOT recommend this his studio for an out of towner, a regular or a first timer.
