Bought a fresh Peking duck and was amazed at the quality and good service. Price was reasonable ($19) for right under 5 lbs. It was plucked and smelled clean/fresh. There was a bit of a smell in the market itself but nothing too bad. It included the head and feet but not the liver/gizzards. Definitely will come back for more!!

This is not your average fresh poultry market. From popular Rhode Island reds to the Silkies that some Cantonese dishes require, they have a great selection of poultry and other fresh items such as rabbit, pork, fish, beef, and pantry items. On occasion, you will find some basic Chinese vegetables also in the bins.Priced at a discount, they will also sometimes have older hens for sale that are great for stock making. No longer a cash-only business, you can use your ATM or Credit Card.Arrive early for the best selection because they close at 3 pm. Shopping on weekends and you may not get a completely fresh hen.

The chicken was juicy and had a delicious coating. The spice level was perfect for my taste and I really enjoyed the slider as a whole. Their fries have a wonderful seasoning on them, and their house-made sauce is fantastic.

Another hot chicken spot that popped up in the fried chicken craze in LA started by Howlin Rays. Peking Poultry sells only chicken tenders for meat.

Staff is super awesome! Adam was a great help. Clean place and friendly/ helpful staff. Food was great as well. I got the three piece tenders with mild spice. It was my first time trying this place and I have to say they did not disappoint. Will definitely come back here again.

Peking Poultry has the most delicious fried chicken ever! There can be a wait sometimes, but the line moves relatively fast. The parking lot in front can get packed so be wary of that. The chicken is well worth it and their fries and mac and cheese are also delicious. Love this place!

I decided to stop by for lunch and the employees there were very kind. I wanted to try their macaroni and cheese so I asked how much I would get for $3.50. He showed me how large it was and I wasn't sure I was ready to try it. But then he offered to let me try the mac & cheese for free and I enjoyed it. I love their chicken sandwiches and their fried pickles are to die for!Great customer service and good food, both rare in LA

I also tried a twelve piece of wings and they were happy to split the heat levels for me no problem. Some places insist on all one flavor and heat level but they were very easy to work with here. I tried the mild and medium which was perfect for me. I like to get a little heat then back off then go in again. Feel a little burn but not too much. The only reservation I have is the wingettes are tiny, but they know that and are honest about it up front.

When it comes to spicy heat levels, I'd like to believe I'm pretty seasoned. Their levels are broken down by No Heat, Peking Mild, or Peking Hot. Mild is flavorful with a small kick and will probably be the best option for most people. I broke a slight sweat with their hottest option and it was a fun ride, but if you're not a fan of Carolina reapers and ghost peppers, I'd say stick with mild.

DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! I can't believe it took me so long to come to this place. The chiken was cooked to perfection nice and crispy I got one of the hot flavors and let me tell you it's no joke but it still packs a punch in flavor love the sauce that they provide got some orange soda to cool down the heat too good to be true. Can't wait to come back.

So yummy! The only thing I could hold against them was the fact that mac n cheese was out... Understandable so I guess I'll have to come back another time! The chicken is sooo good, you have to truly try it yourself to understand. I'm also a huge fan at the fact that extra sauce is readily available for guests.

My favorite place for mild chicken tenders and sliders! Medium spice is not too bad but you can definitely feel the kick. The fries and Mac n cheese are tasty too. Would say get the 1 slider and one tender option because I can never finish the two sliders.Definitely recommend coming here.Ps, it gets pretty packed around 7ish so it can be harder to find seats and parking.
