Give Justin a raise!!! He went out of his way to be super helpful and informative today and when we went in to get a hamster. He seriously did not have to be that nice and we went when it was busy and a lot of people were needing help and he was great at getting to everyone.

I called before I came the first time and the woman on the phone was phenomenal then I came in person and Nick helped me find the perfect food for my goldendoodle who was struggling with a chicken allergy. We ended up going with the purina pro plan lamb and rice ! That was about a month ago and I'm back today and was assisted by Nick again and I have to say he was just as wonderful! He knows his stuff and really has a passion for his job. Thank you Nick for always helping me and for being so knowledgeable! I love coming here and seeing your positive energy and hearing your advice and recommendations on products!

After asking an associate for help, and her fumbling around to get SOMEONE ELSE because for some reason she couldn't help me herself and waiting another 15 minutes until someone finally showed up, I walked to the register to make my purchase only to deal with the most depressing looking cashier ever. Young guy, with a hoodie on (for some reason )and both feet up on the counter. According to the Receipt it says "helped by Akhiry-Izayah" but the only thing he helped me with was realizing why self checkout is taking over. There wasn't a "hey how you doing?" Or "find everything you were looking for?" Not even a simple hi. Even the homeless guy outside was friendlier. It's not my fault you hate your job buddy, but YOU decided to work here, so don't take it out on customers. Be a big boy, and at least pretend to be interested in doing you're job or just stay home. My suggestion; Wipe the slate and overhaul the entire "team" for more knowledgeable and friendlier associates

Avoid getting your pet groomed here if at all possible. My dog was "groomed" in under 2 hours, but it doesn't feel like she was washed. Her coat is still hard and crunchy. The worst part is that her sanitary area was uncleaned and untidy. I had to wipe my dog down with multiple pet wipes and she's still gross. I've never had an issue with this part of her grooming at other groomers - very disappointing.

My disabled dog was refused services because she's in a wheelchair. The lead stylist at the grooming station has a no disabled pets policy. Of all places, I expected Petco to be inclusive. I'm shocked, and very very disappointed.

Dirty and smelly restroom, can't believe this. I don't think anyone still interested in purchasing anything from this store after using such a restroom, so please clean you restroom first.

This Petco is the absolute worst. There are always long lines and when you try to pickup an online order, they almost get mad at you. They only trained one person in the whole store to do online orders and he has an attitude. I had already waited in a long line and when I got to the front, the cashier said she didn't know how to do online orders and she asked me to step to the side and someone would eventually come help me. Are you serious??? The guy acted so put out by the process when he got there, too. That's such bad customer service and it's honestly not worth the headache of shopping here and dealing with rude and untrained staff. I pointed out my order to him and he just ignored me and kept searching like he couldn't hear me. I had to tell him a handful of times where I could see my order sitting there, but at that point, the rudeness felt intentional. Go to the La Brea Petco or Glendale. They're always kind, well staffed, and they actually restock their shelves instead of letting everything in the aisles.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE- I immediately let the supervisor that I needed to do two things. A pice adjustment on a receipt with only three items from a coupon to be applied, and return an item. He only did the return. Then said, "it would take too much time to do a price adjustment because there are too many items,". Three items, that was it. He also had a dismissive attitude. Will go to another location going forward.

Yesterday I went in thinking I was scheduled for my puppy to be groomed. It turns out it was next week ,but Ethan was so kind to fit me in today at 2:45. When I went in I was encountered with a very rude associate named Joanne. She told me that I wasn't on the schedule . She said that she was about to clock out in 10 minutes and it wasn't fair for her . That Ethan wasn't there .I explained to her I drove in the rain and that Ethan had told me to come back today. She was rude and very unwilling to help. We are on hurricane watch and even with this weather I came to my appointment. I left a very unsatisfied customer!. This seems like they don't care about the customer whatsoever. Only resolution the manager Romeo gave me was a 20% discount on my next grooming appointment, which I already get because I'm a vital care premier member . Which I will be canceling .Will not be returning to this place at all. I guess that not everyone's time is important just Joanne's .

When I came into petco I was caught off guard because I would try to get the attention of other workers to help me but they all seemed kinda in their own world. So I went to the register where I was kindly assisted by Jaired, where he then directed me on what I should do and what I should get for my fish tank and what size might be best for the fish I wanted to get. After I got the tank he then quickly and effectively checked me out and was very polite. Definitely recommend asking Jaired for help if available!!!!

Petco, where the pets (definitely) go... Of East Hollywood is on the northwest corner of Hollywood/Western directly next to Marshall's with a shared parking lot structure and they're open every day from 10 am to 7 pm. I think this is a pretty good Petco. The service is super friendly and they keep things nice and tidy. I like to pop in and grab treats for my friends with pets including my roommates #DogUncleLife as well as check out the fish, exotic animals, birds, and furry critters for an animal lover pick me up... Also sometimes they have some limited small plants for sale so you know that brings me in. I also love getting a better sense of pricing for when someone is looking for something specific like a new pet bed or cat tower. The prices are fair, but for certain items, you can get lucky at local discount stores like Ross, which is where I got a new dog bed for a friend's pet's Xmas gift a while back. Petco does tend to carry longer-lasting/higher-quality items, but they just don't have enough sales. They do have a solid rewards program and some cool coupons now and then, however. The store never seems too busy and even when it mildly is they have plenty of pet crew/associates to help you out in all areas. Just saw the other day that this location has Vetco total care! Along with grooming services like most locations (if not all). Pretty awesome place to be a pet or a pet parent/guardian/friend.

This petco seriously should get a zero star review. I got my pup about a year ago & since then the same aisles STILL need to be restocked. They have almost nothing! What's the point of being open if they don't carry much?? Also, my sisters' pup needed a wound care spray this week & it said it was in stock when she went in they told her it was still boxed & asked her to come the next day. I came in for her the next day & it was STILL boxed & they let me know they didn't know when it would be placed on shelves because "the guy who does that job might not come in for a few days". When I asked if they could check who might have it they told me "you can call other petcos". Just horrible, truly bad. I will definitely be driving 20mins more to meet the needs of my pup. This review was long overdue but this last experience just really did it for me.

I'm so happy to have met Ethan in the grooming department and had him clip my dog's claws. It was my first time having his claws clipped professionally and Ethan was very thorough going through the process with me and also did a great job getting my dog comfortable and giving the claws a good clipping. Petco is very lucky to have Ethan!
