The best place ever with the most special fabrics and kindest staff. Have been working with Ragfinders for a couple of years and can't speak highly enough of the team there. They are thoughtful and very hard working and always help us get the quality & quality of fabrics needed to grow our business.

I am so grateful to have found this place! I purchase all my linen here for my small business-- The place is massive, so give yourself time to shop. It is a bummer that the minimum of yards is so high, but sometimes you can finish a roll of just a few yards! Will continue to shop and am so glad to be working with deadstock fabric!

How are you kicking out people at 3.40 if you close at 4? This place has been going downhill ever since the owner went away.

This is a four story wonderland packed full of fabric! It is by far one of my favorite places in dtla. If you are coming here for the first time there are a few things you should know: 1- There is a 20 yard min for purchase. This is usually not a big deal because their prices are so great. However- they will NOT sell less than 20 yards of any fabric so don't bother coming here if you only need 2-3 yards of something. 2- bring your own scissors; they let you swatch on your own. Except for the silks- DO NOT SWATCH THE SILKS- EVER! 3- There is no cell phone reception in the basement. Keep this in mind and try not to get lost in the basement. The basement can get overwhelming at times. 4- There are a few parking spots in back but they can get cramped. It's better to try to find street parking in the front if possible. 5- Make sure you plan enough time to explore all of the fabrics. It really does take an enormous amount of time to go through all of the fabrics in this place so plan accordingly!

Update: I just found out that the owner Ruben passed away. I’m heart broken.Love this place. The owner Ruben is so great. Be aware it’s a 20 yard purchase. Don’t ask for less! They have everything, floors of it. Open during COVID. Mask required. No seller license required, just pay sales tax. Good selection of just about anything from high end silks to plain cottons.

I love Rag Finders so much. It feels like you are visiting family every time you walk in the door. The late owner and founder, Rubin, was always such a kind and funny soul. He and his crew would help me find whatever I was searching for. Sarah is always incredibly sweet and is extremely knowledgeable about all things fabric. All of the employees are always helpful and kind. It's my favorite place to swatch and fabric shop. They have several stories packed to the gills, so if you need anything, just ask for help. I could spend days here perusing the bolts. Don't forget to say hi to their resident cat, Garfield. He's adorable and, of course, super friendly. I love Rag Finders!!

I am SOOOOOOO saddened by the news....I did not know....omg, he was absolutely a sweetheart! Later in my career I started teaching at FIDM and Rubin was kind enough to let my classes come over for fieldtrips.....he would always be gracious, knowing that one day they could possibly be his customers...and some definitely were! He even hired a few as interns...what a great place to learn and what a good man to learn from.... YOU WILL BE SO MISSED MY FRIEND....RIP

I went to this store today to buy a fabric and encountered the worst experience Iv ever had. I asked for assistance and very rudely he replied with “should I drop what I’m doing just to help you” I felt very offended then went on to ask another person to help when the owner refused to even sell me the product. He went on to say what you’re never gonna come to my shop go ahead don’t come back. I was very offended and do not recommend this store to anyone. I went to file a complaint on the consumer government website. The owner has to receive some punishment for his behavior. ????

Organized chaos/ fashion designer's dream. Loved my first time here! Everyone I spoke to was incredibly kind and helpful. Sarah was particularly helpful and gave me fair prices on beautiful fabrics. I found a lot of great things and am looking forward to going back!
