First of all, I usually wouldn't stop to leave a review for a grocery store. BUT, one employee's admirable qualities inspired me to do so. Gordon working the self-checkout lane after 9PM on a Sunday night showed remarkable patience, professionalism and courtesy when dealing with both customers and finicky machines. We're not perfect, machines aren't either, so we all need patience. And even though I'm sure Gordon' deals with the same issues nightly, and that it's probably not easy, he showed patience and poise above and beyond. It's the little things... not everyone gets to see them, but they always make a difference. In this case, I saw the way Gordon dealt with folks and felt gratitude, because in this day and age, it feels rare. He set an example we all need, and I was lucky enough to catch it.

Do you like being harassed by Spectrum employees who will follow you through the store? Are you like the young woman today who came up to me and pretended I was her boyfriend just so that they would leave her alone? Do you enjoy being made unsafe by the vendors Ralph's allows to harass customers, despite *hundreds of complaints* about people feeling unsafe (as verified by one of their cashiers this week) when Spectrum folks followed them through the aisles while ignoring pleas to go away or let them be? Then this is the store for you! Don't bother complaining to management - they know about it. They're just okay with you feeling unsafe in their store, because Spectrum pays them for the opportunity to harass you. Just do what we do now: go elsewhere instead.

Worst part of my day when I have to come here and flush my money down the drain. If you're one of those people who has a problem making themselves throw up, just walk up to this place. Stand outside for a few minutes, the smell will make you wretch. The odor outside is horrendous if you poured concentrated bleach on the sidewalk, the bleach would run away. It's a combination of death and excrement. At least it smells a little better inside. But that's about where my positive comments for this place end. Everything is marked up considerably. I imagine this place has lots of theft, and they pass the loss onto its customers. If you have a car, bus pass, access to the subway or use of a helicopter, avoid coming here. Go anywhere else. Big box store, membership club, any mart with the word wall in it. You'll find exactly the same products and produce at dramatic discounts from this place. The Kroger company ought to be ashamed of itself for how it runs this place. It's like this: if I approached this place and I saw one of its employees being accosted or mugged, I'd probably ignore it and walk on by. This place makes me indifferent to humanity. This store actually has successfully turned me into a worse human being for shopping here. They are getting more sneaky everyday, I saw jumbo avocados marked at $1.79, but it was a digital coupon, I entered my number and still had to pay $3.00. So that's when I decided to write this review.

This is one of my places of we are hungry and want some home cooked food we get the grilled chicken with French bread then some salads that are pre made. It's better than fast food sometimes! They have such a great deli and I like the sushi too!!!

I was there around 11:00 am this Tuesday Gemma G charge me 2 times for a fruit mix, also I got charge for a vegetable mix that I didn't get. That place is a mess I was being rush to pack my own stuff. There where a lot of employees around but they don't care. I have been calling the manager Angel Herrera but he doesn't pick up the phone. Also there's nothing way to leave message because they don't have an answering machine. This Yelp s the second time I got home over charge but no one seems to know what to do about it.

This is a pretty busy grocery store in DTLA & parking is limited to street along with the garage underground. The selection in grocery items are pretty big, like any other produce store. A good amount of self check out with a couple cashiers on deck. Also this is a spot built within an apartment or shared with an apartment complex, FYI. I'd definitely come back here again for groceries and other items. Security guards are on deck also and customer service overall is good.

I'd like to know why the automatic doors are locked at 1:30a (possibly before then) on a weekend night and staff is saying the store is closed while cleaning the floor near the entrance. I'm aware of the time of night I approached the store relative to the closing time (2a), but I was hoping to purchase something and be out quickly. There are other things of note I could comment on, but this incident is the straw that breaks the camel's back. This Ralph's is heading in the wrong direction, especially without notifying their neighbors.

I love this location! Huge variety of fresh foods. Bakery breads & desserts are delicious. Seafood and sushi is always fresh and made daily. They also make subs and sandwiches fresh to order at the deli. They have a huge selection of items throughout the entire store. The store is always perfectly cleaned and well stocked. The managers and employees are always super friendly and helpful.

The Starbucks crew at store # 83 are professional and courteous even when dealing with picky customers, as I observed today. Shout out to Cisco, Michelle, and Emil.

I live 2 blocks from this Ralph's for almost 20 years but I rarely go here because they don't have enough cashiers so the lines often are halfway or more down an aisle trying to force us to use self check out but even then the line is long. If they want us to use self checkout and make me do the work they should give us a discount. I'm not a cashier and Kroger is not my employer.
