Rancho Park Golf Course & Driving Range is a favorite municipal golf course and driving range in West LA, close to UCLA. It feels like a golfer's oasis nestled in the midst of the city, with a nice 18-hole course and a 9-hole short course. The driving range is a favorite place to practice and is considered the best in West LA. It is double-decked with plenty of space between each independent bay, separated by a low wall, making it very safe. Hitting is done downhill from artificial turf mats. The place is clean, the grasses are well maintained, and it is fairly priced. A bucket of 100 balls typically costs between $10 and $15, and credit cards are accepted. Club rentals are available, and drivers' tees can be purchased at the reception desk. The golf course is picture-worthy during sunset. The only real downside is that it can get quite busy and crowded, often requiring a long queue to wait for a stall and a long time to find a parking spot. However, it is crowded because the place is well-run. Overall, it is a nice place where golfers feel comfortable and happy to visit, often leading to improved game.
Feels like a golfers oasis nestled in the midst of the city. I love the history of this course and the dedication of the greenskepers. Definitely a favorite municipal golf course.

Great course, hard to get on esp if you don't have a city rec card!

It's close to UCLA's UV, so I don't know how many times I've passed there. Driver's tee? (a squishy plastic thing that can be fixed to an artificial turf mat) can be purchased at the reception desk for $2.
