DELIVERY SERVICE REVIEW So as we are in the middle of a global pandemic, ordering an inordinate amount of groceries from a supermarket less than 4 minutes driving is entirely acceptable. Living our best (and safest) lives. Ordered online, for the first time, via Instacart. Ordered 30 items, from eggs to produce to meat etc., the quality of everything our shopper, Kimberly, was on the money. Kimberly is awesome- excellent shopper, delivered everything quickly, friendly. She is a huge reason I'll be using this service again. Thank you!

If I could give this place zero I would give them zero. Rude customer service, the manager telling you have a nice day and walking away from you without solving your problem. Not an ounce of respect from the employees. Avoid this place if you can. Worst experience ever.

I like this Ralph. The workers here are helpful, and their meat is always great. I used to go to sprouts nearby, but really enjoyed coming here. The lines at the register can be annoying sometimes though

Three months ago when I was still working, this Ralphs was a convenient destination to multitask due to a schedule gap, to stock up on non-perishable items prior to my last appointment of the day. Upon returning home, as hubby poured my vodka rocks, he would laugh and say, "Honey, nobody needs that much toilet tissue!" Seriously, I'm not a hoarder, just run an efficient household, purchase what's on sale, use Ralphs' store and manufactures' coupons, save money. Because of my shopping habits we are fine, well stocked during this crisis, not panic buying so others can get what they need, able to share with our neighbors. Only needed a few items and this mornings' COVID-19 shopping experience was almost normal, almost like the weekly visit I used to make. I started to cry for the life I used to have but quickly stopped being both gloved and masked with no way to dry my eyes, and besides "...There's NO crying in baseball..." or grocery shopping, especially now! Highly recommend a cloth face covering and gloves as there are no longer any sanitizing wipes at the door to disinfect your cart or hand held basket. No limit to the number of customers admitted to shop. I arrived at 9:30AM but there might be restrictions during peak business hours. Plenty of fresh produce, seafood, meat, frozen food, dairy, bread, wine and spirits. Encountered sparsely stocked shelves in both the grain/pasta/soup/broth aisles as well as in paper products. No name brand toilet tissue, just Ralphs' brand with a limit of one $5.99 12-roll package per customer. No paper towel, no paper table napkins, isopropyl alcohol, hand sanitizer, liquid hand soap but plenty of bar soap, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, shampoo, hydrogen peroxide, toothpaste. Customers are reminded via loudspeaker announcements to maintain physical distancing while shopping. Checkout lines are marked for 6-foot spacing. Interesting that very few people used the self-checkout option today. No reusable shopping bags allowed but no charge for paper or plastic store provided bags. As predicted, should grocery stores go to delivery or pick-up only as the pandemic progresses, I would not hesitate to order from Ralphs as many do now, enjoying the convenience of the service while missing a leisurely browse up and down each aisle...

YES! Doing Coronavirus the right way!! Never thought I'd write a review bc last Sunday my husband went and it was so chaotic we vowed never to go back. But since it's our reg store and a bigger Ralph's I thought I'd try Friday morning. There was a proper line to get in. Most ppl (employees and shoppers) were wearing both masks and gloves. Only @10 shoppers in a time. Most (not all shoppers) respected social distancing. ALL employees did! And reg announcements were made. There were lines at register telling ppl where to stand and the cashiers were protected with a big plastic shield. Shelves were stocked, only one toilet paper per person (containing @6-8 rolls) so no hoarders allowed! It was the best experience I've had in a supermarket since this whole thing started. Thank you Ralph's!

Worst Of all the Ralph's. Rude checkout people. Horrible layout. It's mainly the checkers that make me never want to shop here.

I wasn't planning to review this store, but I felt compelled to say that I appreciate Jose who works the night shift. He's always so polite & respectful. Very nice person. Management take note. This particular Ralphs is not high on my list of favorite stores, but I appreciate the fact they're open 24 hours, which is a godsend when I'm craving carbs at 3 o'clock in the morning. The store has a weird layout, with aisles that don't line up properly. (I'm kind of a fanatic about store layout.) I get the feeling they experience a high rate of theft due to all the vagrant filth in the area. One time I saw a night stocker chase after a shoplifter who walked right out the door. The lowlife got away. They don't seem to have security at night and they really should.

It's feeling more & more racist every time I come to this location. Management: please ask the Asian security guard to follow everyone around the store, not just young black men. Countless times I've seen Mexican & white children STEAL SO EASILY & I laugh & mind my business. This is the 3rd time this has happened & I've let it slide, I won't again.

***This review is specifically about the pharmacy.*** Their pharmacy is top-notch! They really go the extra mile to fulfill your needs, well above and beyond to care. A great example of customer service, as well as competent and knowledgeable!

This Ralphs's parking lot is far worse than it ought to be, based on how it's laid out. If you are at home and have an "is it in stock" question, you should get in your car, navigating the terrible parking, parking your car, and checking for yourself. It will take far less time than calling and trying to talk to anyone not in a particular department--even a manager. I just spent 16 minutes trying to find out if they have a beer in stock. They didn't. 1.5 stars rounded up to two because they have fantastic propane tank prices and availability.

This is a higher quality Ralphs compared to the one right by my house. They have a great selection. The one in Westwood has a bar though. Wait, this is a grocery store. Why are you reading a yelp review on a grocery store? Let alone Ralphs?

The people at this store well 90% are just such jerks. The mean (i think manager) at Starbucks is always pissy when i ask for ice. I even offer a dollar. Says no but still acts like im doing her wrong. EVERY TIME. The grouchy little bald man at customer service.... ill just say dont ever lock your keys in the car cuz he will do as little as he can to help make a phone call. 2 and a half hours later Walked over to Trader Joes and had a tow truck in 15 minutes. On Thanksgiving i went in and there was no turkey gravy on the shelf but went to check out and saw a giant floor stack. Told the manager it would be easier to find on the shelf. ( i worked in a grocery store 8 years and the shelf was ALWAYS FILLED if stock was in the store.) Well he talked to me like i was complaining said "well its gonna stay there untill they come in tonight ok". OK! ITS YOUR SALES FUKTARD! And would probably be a lot easier on you if people COULD ACTUALLY FIND PRODUCT WITHOUT HAVING TO FIND ONE OF YOU GROUCHY UNENTHUSIASTIC *people to ask for help. Damn. Ill do my shopping at the UCLA store. Its not worth it. P.s. one time i got out of my car and i thought it was a water puddle. And the smell! It was a giant puddle of piss and toilet paper. Another day i saw a guy shooting up INSIDE the parking lot. Awfully snotty for such a $h!t hole

It feels weird to leave a review for a chain super market, they have the same stuff as the rest of the Ralph's. But tonight they reminded me about how amazing their service is, I left a pack of cigarettes that I had bought and the cashier raced to me in the parking lot and was so warm and kind giving them back. That's not uncommon, I was with a friend who dropped their wallet in the parking lot at 10:30 at night, they not only found the wallet they returned it with a fantastic attitude, I always see the baggers offer to help people with a bunch of heavy items, and the security is always watchful and patrolling so everyone feels safe all the time. It's less than a mile from a fatburger where when I lost my wallet, a shift lead could not even be found never mind a manager, and I was laughed at by a standard rude person who answered the phone the second time I called. Just be kind. That's all we need in this world, and this place has a culture that seems to hire and nurture the best.

The store is awesome! Customer service at checkout is also Awesome! My 1 star review is for the Deli Counter gentleman by the name of David. I've been holding off doing a review because I think that people deserve a 2nd chance. In this case, a 3rd! He seems to be a veteran employee and always has a chip on his shoulder. You go to the deli or restaurant after a long day at work and just want to get your food and/or be served. He always just doesn't want to seem like he wants to help. I wrote this review after taking a second thought and what finally occurred. There was one gentleman ahead of me. Being helped by somebody else. He was in the back doing something. He finally came forward and did not acknowledge me. Then after viewing 2 others take numbers (possible regulars) decided to help them....knowing that I was next! With an attitude he fell back on the "number policy!" What a Total Jerk Move! Bad things will happen to bad people! God Bless you, David! I've also reached out to Kroger Corporate.

this is for the pharmacy. I've been going to to that location for 20 years. Last week they "forgot" to fill a prescription my doctor had just phoned in, so I said I had five pills in my purse, enough to last me until Friday, and I'd be there on Sat. to pick it up. Pharmacy Tech agreed to fill by Sat. Went at noon today, and they said it wasn't ready. C'mon, you had 6 days!!! I normally would be nice about it, but the errors and things that are looked over are becoming too much!

Just tried Premium Hawaiian Poke Bowl from their sushi station. Two thumbs up! bd And don't forget to give their Mochi Ice Cream a go. I believe it's also their new product in 2019, and might be summer-only. Its very own small freezer is located right in front of the sushi station. p.s. Now I can always find wasabi and the curry sauce (when it's not sold out) in the import food section. p.p.s. But why do they place shopping baskets only at the east entrance..? Please do at the west one too. Thanks.

Worst deli experience ever. Every time I'm at this location I see the employees walking around the guests and not helping them out. It's annoying and unprofessional! Especially after battling for a parking spot. & today the manager was watching it all go down as he gossiped with one of the employees about this mornings events in the store. As if we all have time to waste in Los Angeles. Geez get it together Ralph's, you make them all look bad

This is our market, great selection, plenty of room to shop even when it's busy. However, the bakery, the person who makes their cakes is terrible! Second year in a row they got my son's cake wrong, I'm so frustrated! Luis who works in the bakery is great, unfortunately, he doesn't make the cakes. Be very careful when you order a cake and even more so if you order online, the last time, they didn't even get the order. I went to pick up and no cake. Had to wait for an hour for them to make it.

Huge store! Easily accessible parking lot, random clearance items, & lots of delicious fresh food choices. There are many checkout lanes including self-checkout. The store is pretty clean and organized. The staff is pretty attentive. The prices overall are affordable and there are many choices to choose from. I also love the salad and the sushi bar.

Stopped in early early on a Saturday morning - store was full of employees stocking and cleaning, almost hard to maneuver around everyone! So many amazing looking options in the flowers, in the produce, in the bakery - I wish they had a Ralph's in Ohio! Staff was friendly and we were glad we picked Ralph's for our breakfast run!

It's my home Ralph's and I go there because it's better then most of the other grocery stores within a 5 miles radius of my place (and there are several). They are pretty quick at checkout and always have someone at the self-check out kiosk and I don't need to stand there aimlessly. I also prefer to go later in the night or Fridays because it's quiet and very short lines. I try to avoid Sundays even at night because the shelves can be empty and messy especially if it was a big event/holiday weekend.

1. A few months ago while with my toddler in arm, I was checked out, had put my credit card in and had my bags. Went to my car, put the 2 bags of groceries in the car and was putting my toddler in the car-seat when I was approached by security and an employee (I think it was the african american manager who never shows any friendly demeanor) saying I didn't pay. I said I had, and he "escorted" me back in with my bags in front of everyone and my child claiming I hadn't, making me look like a thief. They were acting like I was "caught". I was taken back to the register by the security police and manager and other customers staring at the whole spectacle. I told them I've been shopping there for 15 years (usually twice/week) - didn't register/they didn't care - and remember putting my credit card AND my customer rewards card using my phone number with my name attached to that - why would I do that if I was planning to steal $30 worth of groceries? I started removing my groceries from the bags to expedite it, humiliated by the circus. I was told all the info was already in the system I didn't have to get it rung again, that the cashier hadn't pressed the finish button or something. Then why did they make me bring all my groceries back and humiliate and inconvenience me? They made me feel like a thief. He pressed a button with security and manager surrounding me and customers in line watching, receipt popped out, the mean manager and the other employees didn't apologize at all but instead made me feel like a thief. (cashier was old man). I contemplated suing them for the experience. 2. A couple years ago I bought plain yogurt that was moldy when I opened it. I took receipt and told manager, she was a TOTAL B*. Again no apologies, she was rude, no customer service and acted like I was inconveniencing her, not concerned about the actual issue. 3. Last year my mother said the Nordstrom gift card I got from there for mother's day had no credit on it. I was sure I had paid $50 for it. I told a manager, who gave me a number to call to ask for the accountant. NOBODY ever answered the phone. They finally did once and it was just the number to the store - I went in person and all she did was give me the number to their store where the phone is rarely answered. The accountant was never available so I got ripped off and nobody looked into it or cared. 4. Last week one of their produce products gave me SEVERE food poisoning - I was throwing up with diarrhea all night and couldn't go to work the next day. I wanted to approach a manager about it, but the last 2 times I have shopped there I feel they are very unapproachable and I don't want to "bother" them about it. They won't care and likely will make me feel like I'm inconveniencing them. 5. A couple of weeks ago I was at the Deli (food has a lot of artificial ingredients - you'd think at a grocery store they'd have access to real ingredients but they're pre-processed/made at a factory with preservatives and list of ingredients that are hard to pronounce so don't get fooled). One of the employees was late from his brake and the manager started yelling at him. I felt really bad and wish he could find somewhere better to work where they don't talk to him that way, especially in front of others just like they did to me. My list could be much longer, but these are the immediate ones that first popped into mind. There are a few cashiers who are nice and hard workers and there are a few nice things I can say, but the bad totally outweighs all that. You'd think at a very busy store in one of the most congested areas of Los Angeles they'd do a better job of hiring and training (though you can't train common sense into people) but that's sadly not the case here.

This is my sister's Ralphs and the Ralphs that is walking distance to my current work. They have a lot of options here. Everything is always neatly stocked. Employees are nice and helpful, if you're wandering around aimlessly and confused, they will ask you if you need help looking for something. They got a huge selection of everything here and the shelves are neatly stocked. Have you been to their vitamins aisle? Holy jeez. Their products and makeup section? Yeah this store is big and I'm still familiarizing myself with it but they def have A LOT and it's not so ghetto. They got a nice selection of La Brea Bakery bread and olive bread is one of my fave! Try it! An olive bar, and a salad bar that's not too shabby. Great Ralphs! I love Ralphs! I spend most of my $ here. That's why I got the Amex Preferred Everyday Cashback card. 6% back on groceries (there is a cap though). Wells Fargo and Starbucks can be found inside.

This review is for the Pharmacy only. I stopped by today for the free flu shot. Alex & his staff are extremely professional, pleasant & responsive. After Alex dud the flu shot, he gave me information on possible side effects & said to call him if I have any problems. I've never had a problem with the staff in the years that I've been coming to this location. I hope that management will acknowledge this staff for the professionals that they are. It 's a pleasure coming here & dealing with the staff.

I mean, it's a Ralph's. But in comparison to the other Ralph's in the area it's a notch above. Clean, well organized, and great selection of exotic fruits, veggies and then all the standard Ralph's stuff. Their salad and sushi bar is a cut above any other Ralph's I've seen. Not quite Bristol Farms or Whole Foods, but for Ralph's it's impressive.
