No stars if I can. Very not nice people. So I went to deliver some groceries for amazon and the stupid cleaning lady told the dumb security that I can pull the cart in to make the delivery. I know I dont live there but the tenant ordered 3 cases of water and like 5 bags of groceries so I had to carry it up and all the way to the apartment. So when the tanents move in there's no dolly's allowed? Idiots!!!

My first ever Yelp review and only to warn people NOT to move to this building. It is by far the worst management I have ever dealt with in the US. Unresponsive and completely unfriendly. I don't want to go in detail with everything that I had to deal with but I had enough after one year. On top of that, they are delusional with their rent prices. Do yourself a favor and avoid this major headache. Live somewhere else!

What is the point of hiding ALL the rents and making someone call to find the rent. Is it a matter of whether they like your voice? Feels too sketchy and a sign of poor management.

The management here is the absolute worst I have ever met! The office manager refused to help me when I got locked out of my apartment and my dog was inside with the fire place on. I asked if they could unlock my apartment and then the fire alarm went off and the fire department came and they still refused to open my door! They claimed they don't do that service anymore. What service actually helping your residents?! My dog is in there! There is fire going!!!! I need to get in! They refused to help and told me to call a locksmith! Horrible and rude. Did I mention it was 1 am !! The worst management I have ever had from someone!!!

I normally only leave good reviews as hate to spread negativity but this place really left me feeling a certain way. Looked at an apartment here this week. Homeless and garbage every where out front. Halls were pet stained with an unusual aroma, my husband saw a mouse in the laundry area ( I did not, I probably would have screamed if made aware), the young girl who is the property manager was so unkind/ dismissive I went and sat in my car and cried after my tour/meeting.The lobby and pool were beautiful tho...

I am unsure who is leaving such positive reviews for this building? I have only lived here a year and a half and too many awful crimes have taken place INSIDE of the building, that I would rather have not known or heard about, so I decided to move out... I moved in almost a year and a half ago excited, eager to start my life after being divorced in a new city in CA. (This review should not reflect the leasing office employees or maintenance workers as they always listen to any complaints, questions, concerns I have ever voiced and are always willing to help or at least listen so please dont get them in any trouble.) 1)After living here the first week there was a swat team and helicopters surrounding all sides of the building, I am thinking ok its just Hollywood and went about my day, then I get a email from leasing office saying to stay in you're unit do not answer the door. Turned out there was a meth lab on the first floor and police and criminal had a shoot out and heard someone screaming in pain and it really frightened me!2) There is a number for security on the office window that is not in use, I have had to call it several times because the neighbors below me blast music all hour of the day/an night with heavy booming. When I call or txt and ask "Hi my name is ___ 3rd floor" they always say you have the wrong number or no this is not patrol?3) Sometimes when I have returned in from work late at night there are homeless people shooting up in the beautiful lobby and have to take a deep breath head to the elevator and hope no one follows me or jumps me. ( I am a middle aged woman on my own, that stuff scares me.) 4) Out side the residence I will not kid you there have been too many shootings car jackings at the Bossanova to even keep track of at this point. I usually hit the deck when I hear popping.5) There are always randoms who do not live here wondering the garage to dig through the dumpster or loiter outside the package room. They did fix the lock to the package room because everyone in the neighborhood had a key to the package room.6) This one was very sad for me honestly and I debated even sharing it but it is truly the main reason I decided to move out the following month because the rent prices for the monthly crime partaking indoors was not equivalent to having a complex with a pool and gym in Hollywood. I befriended a gorgeous young woman on my floor who had moved here to chase her dream of becoming an actress and model. She tragically died in her loft apartment, and after learning all of the details from her family I was so upset I could not continue to live right next to all that. I head this warning because if I had known all the spooky things going on at Scouts Off Sunset and were upfront with what all goes on here I probably would have never have stayed here this long for these unfortunate cercomstances.

I lived in this building for about 4 years and since the most recent property management company took over, it really went downhill. There was a lot of crime in the building - we had both a car and a bicycle stolen from the garage on separate occasions, and also packages stolen from the mail room. There was also a door busted in on the first floor by police, because of some drug related operation. Also, I moved out of one unit into another in the same building, and the apartment management did not return my security deposit for over 3 months (despite working with them to do so). I finally had to sue them to get the deposit back. The court ruled in my favor and ordered Scout to pay double my security deposit due to their breaking of state law. In California, the landlord has 21 days to return your security deposit after you move out. I have since completely moved out of the building (from a separate unit in the building) and I have again not been returned any portion of my security deposit and it has been more than 30 days. I have asked the building and property management about it several times and they have ignored my emails. I would advise anyone looking at this place for an apartment to avoid it as it really is not worth all the trouble and the management company is impossible to deal with.

I scheduled a tour for this apartment in spite of the reviews (wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt). I scheduled my tour for a 2b/2b and was informed that there where no 1b/1b (which was fine, i had previously planned to get a 1 bed but ended up getting a roommate so we planned to get a 2 bed). When I arrived, there was no one answering the callbox or the phone, so i stood outside for 5-10 mins before a tenant opened the door for us. When we were let in, we saw that no one was in the leasing office. We waited around for 15 minutes and the front desk agent eventually arrived and informed us that she couldn’t show us a 2b/2b because she didn’t have the keys. We were disappointed because we scheduled this tour weeks prior and drove a great distance to check the property out. The agent could not answer any of our questions and let us know that someone would reach out with answers (general questions about parking, pet policies, etc). This never happened, which was the cherry on top of an incredibly disappointing experience. She seemed very disinterested but showed us a 1b/1b, which was nice. The property seemed to be in mint condition but the disorganized nature of the staff, the lack of follow up, and the overall experience was very, very disappointing.

I have been living here for a year now and me and my daughter absolutely love it. She is 6 and we have never had any major issues. This place is extremely safe. Conveniently located to all the greatness of Hollywood. Adetoun and the rest of the staff are super nice and responsive! Neighbors are all nice and respectful.

This place is the slums of the slums! I used to say all the time I lived in the projects because of how horrible it was. Packages stolen from day one constantly. In which I could not be refunded for due to the carrier having photos of them being left in the "secure" package room. Nothing about it was secure. The water was shut off every other day. Heroine adicts slept on the steps. My car was damaged by leaking pipes, they did pay for cleaning fee but only after several complaints and basically told I was lying. My ac unit stopped working every month in which cause a spike in my electric bill. . They gave a credit towards rent but nothing nearly to the amount of how much my bill increased. The cops where there all the time for drug bust in the several diff apartments and domestic disputes. The hot tub is disgusting. They charge for every little thing upon move out. The office manager is pleasant and helpful but the company overall is a joke!

My experience with this place has been positive based on the management team Da'ante and Adetoun and the maintenance manager Ryan. The leasing process was very smooth and they answered any questions or concerns I had. My apartment itself is very nice and renovated and the pool and gym areas are definitely a plus. (They're reopened at limited capacity) Also, whenever I have any maintenance issues, the maintenance manager ryan is quick to respond to them.

Andrea Ciliberti made my experience a TERRIBLE one. I am Mexican and she made it known that she does not like people of color.I came to visit a friend and I was looking around the apartment place to see if maybe I wanted to move in too, she stated I was trying to steal things because “Mexicans are known for stealing.”I hope she never gets a job at places that require you to be a genuinely good human being. I hope you guys have fired her.
