My oven a part of my stove went out nearly 2 months ago. I called Sears Appliance service which is part of my Master Plan Contract. The repair man came to my home told me it needed a part & never ordered it because I was told I had to order a part that I could not order seeing I was the customer who did not know what to order. I'm still waiting for my Stove to be repaired!!!! Not professional at all..... this is a Company that went DOWN!!!!

Technician Jesus was first rate (on time, helpful, polite, and detailed in explaining the issues), as have other Sears technicians that I have had to my home in the last few years for my refrigerator. But Sears' quote for labor was outrageous: $450 to install two replacement parts (that in turn would cost over $700) when the total time involved would be under an hour. The quoted rate ($450 for about 40-50 minutes of work) is especially offensive given that it's about the same time needed for the $99 service call. Had the quote been in the ballpark of reasonable, I likely would have opted for the repairs. But at that level, and given risk of my LG manufactured 'fridge having more problems in the coming years, I passed. So 5 stars for the technicians but only 2 stars for the fees for service. Sears Appliance Repair, you need to do better if you want to avoid what happened to the Sears retail stores.Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair

Nice Tech person! But regarding SEARS renewal washer insurance is way too expensive to renew. $200 for 1 year, $300.for 2 years, $500 for 3 years. I rather buy a new one if it breaks down. I think corporations rip off customers on insurance prices.Service: Washing machine repair

Carlos, the service technician, called ahead to ask what the issue was so he could be prepared. He arrived on time and proceeded to check the refrigerator, and based on what we had discussed previously, he immediately found the issue and fixed it. He replaced the broken part with original mfg. parts and finished up very quickly. He was polite, explained to me what he was doing all the time he was there and once finished he cleaned up and left. all within a very reasonable amount of time. Greta service and I highly recommend Sears Services.Service: Refrigerator repair

My mom and I went to Sears frequenty for my cothes and toys, when I was a kid living in Wyverwood during the late 60's to the mid 70's. Wish I could see photos of the inside of the building so I can take a walk down memory lane. I miss those days, and I miss Wyverwood, and my mom.

The store is closing so they are having a huge sales on everything in their store. It may be the biggest Sear store I have ever seen in LA area

This was the last time I went in there, I'm sure I will look at this pic when I'm older and get feels. Blockbuster, Radioshack, Toy's R Us, and Sears buildings will forever live rent free in my heart?

History on LA's skyline. This building has been part of LA since the 20's. I've been looking at this building in the distance since I was a little kid, stood in the parking lot today. There's a snack bar there... who knew. Go check it out.

It's sad to see one of the great stores close down for good. I have always enjoyed coming down to shop for shoes for my dad and his tools and meet so many great people. I will truly miss the full customer experience and the interaction with knowledgeable employees like Roger and David and the warmth from the old school cashiers like Lako.

Although I’ve been a lifelong fan of Sears, this store was a little disappointing. They took away all the charm of the building and really made it very vanilla on the inside. The massive historic building is beautiful. I hope they can refurbish this into something the community would be proud of. While keeping that iconic green Sears at the top.

Went in looking for a tool. Which I didn't find but I noticed the store was kind of empty. The only employees I saw were at the registers. I don't know if this store is in the process of closing but it sure felt that way. I don't think I will be coming back again.
