Complaint: I’m a long time customer taking my friend to shop for the first time at Sephora. We got three small items, super cute. Everyone was very helpful. EXCEPT: when we got in the queue for check out, a staff came and organized the queue a bit. We wanted to check out quickly, so I politely asked her to help us do Apple Pay, the lady said “later”. After she organized the crowd she offered to serve another pair of customers. I went to her to ask her if she would be able to help us after serving this customer, she seemed cold and said “later” again. (Usually busy sephora staff would politely guide us to a colleague or warmly ask us to hang tight, she didn’t do any of that. I regard that as a “no”, so I returned to the line) Later, when we are about to hit the check out counter, another nice lady came and offered to help us with Apple Pay, she was super patient! I did not expect to experience micro aggression in a Sephora store, where everyone should feel welcomed. Our purchase on the receipt was 3:37pm may 26th with 3 items.

One of my top fave Sephora stores… they have a wide range of brands and products , (I would say for some very specific products 3rd street promenade branch is still on top) very friendly staff that are attentive but not making you uncomfortable by keep coming to you. The store feels spacious and well designed.

Very bad customer service. I had called Monday 3/24 @ 11:30 AM to ask for a product in stock in store at the Century City location. Reason I called before hand is because I was coming from an hour drive and wanted to make sure it was in stock and the person I spoke to was very unprofessional and unsupportive. Once I asked for the product, she said “I don’t know. You have to come in store to check because I’m short staff. Goodbye.” Now I understand if you are short staff but I don’t understand what makes it okay to speak to someone like that. Now my understanding her name was Mcbrack, ( if I’m pronouncing her name right). Please do better. I am not the type of person to leave a negative review but that was unnecessary and uncalled for.

I've gone to a couple different Sephora locations around LA, but I find this one to be the friendliest. Whenever I come in, I usually know what I'm looking for and don't always want to be approached but I can easily find someone if the situation arises. I didn't get her name, but there was an associate who sold me on a moisturizer that has really helped my skin! She was really sweet and has the same skin type as me so she knew exactly what to recommend. I'll definitely come back!

Have to give Alexx their props. I came in on a mission: get tinted moisturizer and get out, haha. Sometimes shopping in a store with no clue can be overwhelming. Once I told them what I wanted, they were like a wizard picking colors that matched me so well. We started with a brand I used to use years ago but then they recommended another brand that they thought would suit me better for my wedding day. Lo and behold it was airy, perfect amount of coverage, and the perfect shade to blend to my skin. Quick and effective! They even chatted up my mom while trying colors on me! We love good customer service! Thanks, Alexx!

The girl at check out counter was unnecessarily rude. So much attitude. I spent > 300 on Tuesday afternoon around 4 pm at this location. All I got instead of at least smile saying thank you or anything was nasty attitude of the cashier. You could have smiled or dropped in few samples for us. She looked half Asian and was young. If you hate your job don’t work there to sell rude attitude to customers. Specially the ones spending that much there. I kinda want to return all the items back to rude Sephora , take my money and shop at Nordstrom makeup counter instead. They much nicer.

Visited saphora in century city mall Westfield. 06.29.24. The ladies were exceptionally lovely. Maddy at the check out was soooooo lovely. She made me feel better about denting my credit card ☺️

Great customer Service! Ezel from Sephora Century City, Santa Monica was awesome! She was very accomodating and made my Mother-in-law very happy. She just made her visit in LA special. Thank you again Ezel! Sephora definitely needs an employee like her! Good job!

they were stocked on everything thank goodness! very cleanly! most of the staff were helpful except for this one worker with the shaved head (i think shes a makeup artist over here) who ignored me when i was trying to ask her about a certain product and whether it was worth it. she didn't even make eye contact with me and just talked without interacting. i get she was a little busy, but she did not have to be rude and disengaged.
