I got SCAMMED!!! Do not shop here I put $40 in my gas tank and this place took $90 from me!!!!!!! Highly upset and hate to be played with in such a way!!!! I work too hard for my money to be scammed!!!! And how I know I didn’t put $90 in my tank that $40 didn’t even get me to half a tank my car is now on E the next day. I WANT MY MONEY BACK

This Shell station at 504 W Olympic Blvd is either completely incompetent or flat-out scamming people, maybe both.
On April 26th, I paid $14.77 at pump #1. The transaction went through, but no gas was dispensed. I didn’t notice right away, but once I saw the tank hadn’t moved, I turned around and went back.
The employee on-site acknowledged the issue, made a full written report, and confirmed the incident. I was told to return the next day to speak with the manager (who, of course “wasn’t in today”). I wanted to properly fill my tank, so I paid another $27 at pump #2, which worked fine. In total, I paid $42 for just 1/3 of a tank in a Nissan Sentra, a car I usually fill completely for around $55-60.
I returned the next day, still no manager (obviously).
On my third visit (today), I finally got to speak with him, and that’s when the gaslighting started. He told me, “The pump says it gave you gas, so it must have.” No ownership. Just attitude and denial.
$42 for 1/3 of a tank, AND THEY MADE ME RETURN MULTIPLE TIMES. NO REFUND, NO ACCOUNTABILITY.
I’ve officially reported this station to the appropriate authorities. Hopefully, someone steps in because they clearly won’t.

They are taking an advantage of people
They raise their prices on night time as there is no other gas stations open that late
I paid 6.80$ per every damn gallon!!!!!!

I pump 5 dollars for my motorcycle and they put 175 dollars on hold which they will return to me when ever they feel like it

Compared with other gas stations in the vicinity, this gas station basically has no price advantage. Every time I refuel here, it feels like I'm spending a bit more money than at other places. In addition, its supporting services are rather limited. The variety of goods in the convenience store is not rich. Sometimes when I want to buy something conveniently, there aren't many choices. I hope that in the future, there will be improvements in terms of price and service to provide car owners with a better experience.

I came here and I just walked in didn't even get a chance to go through the store was harrased by the Mexican lady that works at 2 am she made me buy a cup I wasn't even getting a drink she charged my card I asked for my money back she said no refund I couldn't even go in the store for what I was getting my kids some snacks and juice cause she made me pay for a cup before I came in the store I cried I have never been followed or harrased like this or told I had to buy I drink before I shop in the store the security guard that was there had his tazer out standing at the register cause I asked can I get my money back why am I paying for a drink before I shop I don't need a drink I was so scared and the security saying yea you pay for a cup before you shop in this store I have posted the video of me going to the store I have the security and the woman on video harassing me through the store cause im white I don't get it I wasn't even getting a drink and why did I haft to pay for a cup just to shop in the store she kept telling me no refund I said why am I paying for a cup just to shop I will never shop here again in my life I've contacted my attorney cause I feel unsafe and this is not how you treat a costumer I have never had this issue with any 7 eleven

This has to be the worst gas station in Los Angeles. Because it’s the closest one to where I live I occasionally force myself to go there even though it’s always a terrible experience. Why don’t I ever learn?First you pull up to the pump. Everything is filthy. You try to use your card and EVERY TIME it says it can’t read the card and sends you to the cashier. Did I mention this happens every time you go but there’s no signage saying they have given up on fixing the pumps.Then you have to get to the cashier. To do this you have to walk a gauntlet of homeless people demanding payment for telling you the pump number and opening the door to the cashier and other ploys.Then you have to stand in line to pay the cashier in advance for your pump. Somehow they always get the amount wrong but you don’t realize that until you go to pump your gas.But before you can pump your gas there’s another error at the pump. It won’t do anything. You have to repeat the homeless gauntlet experience to get to the cashier, who THEN tells you the pump is “locked” because you tried to pay with a card at the pump and you have to go to a different pump. You get to the other pump (luckily somehow nobody has taken it before you can navigate the homeless gauntlet) and it works but that’s when you realize the cashier entered $20 instead of the $40 you requested.Don’t go back just get the hell out of this nightmare

I payed $80 with debit card and spent $60 on gas. I asked cashiers and they said I'll receive the difference in my bank account but it never happend (this was one month ago).Please contact me, I have prepaid receipt and proof of gas fill.

The gas by Shell is dirty especially from this location. My engine got messed up because there are particles in their gas!

This is the worst gas station in America 87 doesn’t work and it would take 30 minutes to fill up the tank at the rate it fills. Everyone should be fired
