This location charges a sur fee of .75 cents for any transaction even if its with a debit card. I showed and explain to them that it is illegal to charge for a debit transaction in California and they still said they didn't care..

I was happy when I ran into this Shell station a few months ago, good spot when getting into or out of LA, not too crowded and cheapest rates in that area.
Last 11.14, I needed gas before leaving LA again, and was attracted by their $4.35/Gal Reg posted on their banner outside.
Only after I noticed that my receipt (attached) says $4.45/Gal.
Now, I am not sure this was the first time this happened at this location, and I hope they don't cheat on their gas rates to attract us customers.
Next time I will pay (I normally do) more attention, and walk to their desk for clarifications right after, in case.
A little surprised and disappointed this time.

Never heard of a gas station say no cash. Wouldn’t accept cash and couldn’t provide a reason why. Freaken fishy and nasty tactics to force people to use debit/credit.

Beware of this Shell, they trick you in with the $ 4.99 sign for gas. But at the pump the price is something else, my price was $ 5.17.Thankfully I used my Ralphs card and saved, but I will think twice before coming here again.

The worst gas station ever. It is 10:46pm, their hour of operations is 24 hours. Asked to use to restroom with intention of purchasing an item, but doors were locked. Talked to which I believe is the owner and they said no.

I think this used to be a Chevron not too long ago, but it was a Shell when I visited, and it was a good one at that. Think I've been here twice, usually would be on the later side. Since Covid, some formerly 24/7 gas stations have cut their hours, and it makes it difficult to find fuel so much later at night if you're out. Thankfully, this is not one of them. One time I had a guy help me inside where I always go to pay inside. Second time was a lady, and she was super sweet. Third time was a different girl, have to admit she was lazy as all heck, but the other two experiences can cancel her out. I know I'm only there to fill up, but it has been a pleasant experience two of the three times where I consider this now to be one of my 'stops.' Places like this are a hit or miss, glad it's the former in this case.
