Just popped into Smart & Final Extra and found the best deal on avocados I've ever seen they were perfectly ripe and only 99 cents each plus the cashier was super friendly and made checkout a breeze.

This store is completely unethical the way they store water outside in the sun. I see someone else posted a review on this 2 months ago and the owner thanked them, however NOTHING HAS CHANGED. Was there yesterday and all their water in plastic bottles is still stored outside directly in the sun creating a potentially hazardous situation to the drinking water. Note to the owner, you thanked the previous poster and did nothing, at what point are you going to show some level of positive regard the well being of others? This total lack of respect or integrity tells you everything you need to know about how this store is run and you can just imagine what other careless actions they are taking in terms of food and beverage storage. I talked to one of the employees who was embarrassed to say that is the way they have always stored the water there.

The short Hispanic girl with round gold glasses is rude, she could barely get the word no out… But she didn’t know the answer to my question where do you get these people? I mean I understand hiring folks with disabilities but this is ridiculous

Worst grocery store in all of West LA (at the least)! This store is run by awful and greedy management. I was there near closing, and they only had worker to help with checking out. They also only open self-checkouts and not regular checkout lanes. Just pure mismanagement. Poor worker was putting items away, cleaning, helping checkout, and was obviously overwhelmed. How can you only have one worker help with the front of the store?? Insane. Not to mention this store has the worst self checkouts I've ever dealt with. Kept thinking I was stealing, wouldn't scan items well, and paying took an employee to help. Worst run grocery store. Don't support a store that obviously doesn't care about its customers or workers

Fire Maria. Today she was asked politely by my mother to unlock the restroom for her and after telling my mother she would send somebody to unlock the door, my mother waited and waited and nobody came to unlock it. When my mother told Maria that nobody came to unlock the restroom, Maria IGNORED her. When she asked Maria if she heard her, Maria once again IGNORED her.

is close to my vet so i stop in to pick up a few items..store is clean with a lot of healthy options/choices of many types different foods/vegetables..overall a good market..tho the area leaves everything to be desired..

This is a discount bulk grocery store. The location is convenient from many neighborhoods on the west side and I find them to be consistently well stocked for the items I’m looking for. In particular their produce is quite good. For certain staples like flour, sugar, cleaning supplies, bulk items like cheese and frozen fruit they are the best. I want to give them 4 stars just because it’s a discount store, but honestly it’s always clean and neat and bright and the staff is prompt to respond to needs. Never terribly crowded either. I can’t think of anything to complain about so ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❗️

The staff is uncooperative and rude. I had a coupon to use for my groceries and realized the final transaction was off. She stood there as if she’s waiting for me to come up with a solution. As someone who works as a cashier and a store manager, I expect her to help me and come up with solutions to resolve the issue and still use my coupon correctly. She stared at me instead of coming up with ways to still honor my coupon deal. Definitely a frustrating experience. I ended up returning my items. Not planning to go back there again.

This is my second terrible experience at the branch on pico blvd. Also second bad experience with a person named April. Two times she’s given me the attitude when I asked about the prices and discounts while checking out. This time she just left and sent someone else to help. Made me feel like I don’t deserve help from her but someone who’s at a lower position. She’s extremely rude and consistently ruining my experience when I shop at this location. Seriously considering not buying anything from this store again.
